Nuke is my favorite. I like his powerful toys.
BTW, what the "real card" means? I am not American so I don't know
some phrase.

mabye nuke and scudstorm's missles u can actually see go by in the map and you can try to shoot it down but it is very heavily armored. just a idea, a very crappy one.
i am feeling the effects of non-daylight saving time.i keep looking at the clock every 5 min expecting it to jump ahead a hour :lol:

don't forget the SDI cannon in Remix is a super base defense instead of a Anti-Nuke defense... it fills thit role very well and does resist large forces with ease.

Nuke general gets the MIRV... I don't think it needs to be any bigger LOL

There are alot of changes planned for Remix3... I've put several into action, though the SupW general and Nuke general will be among the least changed... the reason being they are already favorites, which means they are strong enough and probobly pretty well balanced. One big change I am making to them is in the super-super weapon department. both the MIRV and HBOMB will require an upgrade that requires lvl5 to purchase. as t is right now these are the only lvl restricted upgrades in remix 3, but I felt that any weapon that can end the game so quickly should not be a hand-me-out

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I like the Napalm strike idea. I'd had a similare idea for AirF that didn't work out (using aruroras) but the Phenix might work a bit better... less over powered. It would have to be a lvl5 power though.


some opinions:

Nuke:  about his gen power, replace the neutron bomb with nuke bomb,
radius and power equal to demo's Nuke Truck.  And replace the neutron
cluster mine with nuke cluster mine,  each mine's power equal to nuke mig's missle.  If overpowered, can reduce  the power not the radius.

Infantry:  It  seems  neutron weapons  fit him well.  Maybe  neutron  migs?    and maybe can add an MLRS like shockwave's  Berserker MLRS.

Assault:  His gen power "shaid ambush" doesn't work.  No terrorist  appears.  Maybe  can give  this gen power to  Stealth.

nuke general... I think it might be a little over powered... a small blast perhaps, but I think the overall idea is a good one. the neutron bomb is almost a waste in many games. especialy vs the AI. a decent human player will make enough infantry to reman the vehichls in seconds and at little cost. the AI will just make more vehichles. if it dosn't damage the base or boost your troops its almost a mute power.

Infa general. I think Neutron Migs would be grosely over powered. with a single strike instantly kill your choice of vehichle... or posible group of vehicles. the key difference between the jet and the tank is range and delivery. its all good in a tank because they must close range and still need support such as AA or even ant-tank or artillery. but the mig (if used with any sense) would be fast and near unstoppable... especialy as a base defense. I wil admit, I've considered this very weapon several times,as it fits china's style, but I always decide against it.

I'm not familiar with the shockwave units, what does the Breserker look like and do?

Terror cell moved to Stealth... I actualy all ready plan that :) its on the very long list of changes for assault and stealth.

I already suggested this on the nuke detonator thread, but here is it again:

Replace the nuke detonator with a "fusion reactor". The model already fits this, so no need for a new one. This new fusion reactor make the overlord about 30% faster, and when it dies, it dies with a explosion like the nuke cannon shell. When upgraded with one of this, make small sparks spawn around the reactor, like an regular overpowered chinese power plant.
This is because a nuke detonator really don't fits the nuke gen, suicide units are a speciallity of the demo general!

These two pics are the Berserker MLRS.
Its basic purpose is the same as Inf Gen' Mig, and it is an artillery unit.
If you apply the Neutron Migs, then their roles can be handed over to Berserker
MLRS.

The MLRS looks like it does much the same thing as the Smerch... which looks very different, but does about the same thing as the Nuke cannon. With the artillery caller unit infantry china already has 3 types of artillery unit. I don't think another is needed, even if it looks very cool. it might be a more viable option for a different general, such as tank, who has more limited artillery.

I'm still reluctant to move over to a Neutron Mig, a new, much more expensive plane perhaps. I've been looking for good fictional plane models lately. If one fits the bill I might use it.

I think thats a good idea... it would be good for the nuke detonator to do something else... maybe just be replaced completely by a new addon.

I'll consider the speed option. theres already the nuke tank upgrade to give speed, but its a good idea... I'll think it over.

Thats what the Remix SDI is... a giant Anti-Everything cannon that can be built as a super-weapon/unit and it burns down tanks/infantry/planes by the dozens.

I don't follow what kind of base defense you have in mind if it doesn't fit that same decription. I think anything stronger would be too much and anything in between it and a tomohawk base would be a little redundant.
