1) What is the purpose of this site?
2) Why yellow as the colour scheme? It's a bit...hard on the eyes. If you're gonna do yellow, I'd suggest do a softer tone. Pastel colours make it hard to view.

Artistic thing is something colourfull and that makes a good use of them. Layout is suposed to be creative and original and it currently doesnt seems to be. I think it could also use some original fonts as well.
