All caught up, and watched the series finale. Alright then. Let's have a talk.
What in God's green earth was that... I've never seen anything so rushed and confused in my life. What really was the point of Grey Worm after all this? So your queen, the lady that spent the past 8 years sailing around god-knows where, gets stabbed in the kidney, and you go, "oh. That sucks. Well, alright. Get your king in order and I'll just leave then. It's been fun." It's almost as pointless as setting up the whole White Walker fiasco for 8 years, then settling it all with a really underwhelming battle, shot with the worst lighting I've ever seen. All that "Ice and Fire" the books and show was teetering on didn't really amount to much at all. What a terrible ending. People shouldn't be petitioning for a remake of the season (which will never happen.) They should be petitioning for these directors and writers to be cut. They were 100% clueless without the guidance of the books. If you don't believe me, then wonder to yourself how many memorable lines and witty retorts in this season did they take from past episodes / the books and how many they made up themselves. Yea... correct. They just reiterated all the memorable bits of dialogue from the first 4 seasons. Constantly. Absolutely nothing original has been spotted when these writers have full control of the story.
