It's a missplaced generals.csf file, it should go into the ZH/Data/ your installtion language folder

Well, there isn't much to do about it, it is what the Message says period.
It's a lot of bad coding on EAs part, there have been tries to cut down on the poblems but it's not possible to get rid of them completly.
Serious Error Messages have more to do what the modders did, but even not always.

And does it really happen everytime after one hour? I mean did you look on the watch?
And also what version are you using?

We'll see, but for the moment there is nothing planned for SW General, from what I know she is pretty much complete, maybe some touch ups here or there but nothing big, she already is a formidable General

Well there also is the option for 1.000.000 starting moneyXD

I would guess that Plasma Generator bug is a leftover from internal testing, although I must say, it's a powerplant that should solve all your power problems so it's not that bad, or game breaking

Loosing the "proper" pictures has sth to do with an upgrade limit that had to be by passed, so no big deal, the pictures will ultimatly go away anyways
There is I guess decoys, emp and emitter upgrades for the aurora although I'm not sure.
The loss of the engineer is really really minor, she honestly doesn't need any buffs for that loss
The online function of ZH is a pice of junk, that is why one should use Hamachi (there is a topic about that) to play with others, or just play over lan

I think it was because of a lack of ideas (maybe) and the restriction of the Generals engine to 4 generals for each faction

They are limited super powerful vehicels like the Leonidas, look at the Robot General Video on ModDB

What is the 4tier escalation?


Here is the answer from the master Pendaelose

it works like this... first, lets assume you are playing Super Weapon general, it's an easy build path. You start the game at "Escalation 0". You can build you starter buildings, and a wide range of basic units and defenses, but you cannot build a tech center yet. After you build your War factory you can research "Escalation 1", it costs 2000$ and takes 60 seconds. Now you can build a strategy center plus a new tier of units and defenses. After you build your strategy center you can research "Escalation 2", it costs 4000$ and takes 90 seconds. This will let you build an ICBM launcher, plus another tier of units and defenses. Escalation 2 units are some of the best units in the game and your first level of heavy defenses. These T2 units offer the real meat of your army/base. After your ICBM is built you can research "Escalation 3", this costs 8000$ and takes 135 seconds. Now you can build your particle cannon, SDI cannon, and research your Hydrogen Bomb upgrade for the ICBM.

For any general, if you stay focused on base construction and upgrades you can reach T3 in about 12 minutes. Not all generals will follow the same upgrade path, some have upgrades to a single structure, or others have technology that much be researched, but they all take the same amount of time to reach T3.

For ease of conversation the Escalation levels are often called T0 - T3. Some factions have a T3+. It's not another escalation level, but there may be an additional upgrade or structure needed to unlock a final unit or super weapon.
