hmmm this could either be a hard one or a simple one lets hope its fairly easy    so far i doint see any obvius issues on your site so im just gonna ask the standard questions

have you tried with deactivated firewall?
have you tried to activate send delay in your game options?

Hi all,

I need some help.

  • I've buyed the Ultimate Connection at Origin and installed Zero Hour.
  • Additionally Gentool is installed (and pops up while starting the game).
  • In the options section of the game the local 192.168.* IP adress is shown in both IP fields (nothing else can be chosen).
  • I have a native IPv4 adress (yes, I'm sure it's not a DS lite or similar) and I've opened all neccessary ports in the router's firewall, which would be: TCP ports: 80, 6667, 28910, 29900, 29920 and UDP ports: 4321, 27900
  • The PowerShell command which I found in older threads seems to be successful:
    Test-NetConnection peerchat.server.cnc-online.net -port 6667
    ComputerName     : peerchat.server.cnc-online.net
    RemoteAddress    : 185.17.144.132
    RemotePort       : 6667
    InterfaceAlias   : Ethernet
    SourceAddress    : 192.168.2.36
    TcpTestSucceeded : True

But still: Everytime I go in Multiplayer and try to Login with my account data (from https://cnc-online.net/en/account/)it gives me the following response after some seconds:

"Could not connect to C&C Generals Zero Hour Online"

Any idea?

Thanks to both of you!

To answer all your questions:

Deactivated firewall: Yes, tried that now, no success.

Send delay turned on and off (in constellation with firewall on and off): Same result

No other modifications except GenTool. I even tried today to do a complete new fresh install, but also that didn't help...

I've tried it with port forwarding and closed all other ports again like described in your link Silent_Hunter, but that didn't help.

And additionally I've installed a VPN to see whether it works, but even there I get the same error (with firewall on/off, and send delay on/off)...

Any other ideas?

I guess the error is somewhere in my local installation or something is wrong with my account which I made here (just checked one more time, that I confirmed my email adress). That would be my next try, to see whether it works with another account...

Many thanks for any hint! :thumbsupcool:

Hi all,

topic is solved: Seems like something is wrong with the cnconline account which I created. I just registered a new one with another email adress and this works totally fine now.

Many thanks!
