Gondor wall & rebuilding towers bug

Some differences with the gondorcastleupgrade and the rohancastlewallupgrade

Gondor has:

    IsTrainable        = No

    KindOf                    = STRUCTURE SELECTABLE IMMOBILE WALK_ON_TOP_OF_WALL WALL_UPGRADE CAN_ATTACK NOT_AUTOACQUIRABLE
 

Rohan has:

    Behavior = ProductionUpdate ProductionUpdateModuleTag
        ; nothing, but is required if we have any Object-level Upgrades!
    End

    KindOf                            = STRUCTURE SELECTABLE IMMOBILE CHUNK_VENDOR CAN_ATTACK WALL_UPGRADE WALK_ON_TOP_OF_WALL NOT_AUTOACQUIRABLE
 

Although both of these objects appear in the experiencelevels.ini, so that can't be the problem, or at least it is less likely that it is.

 

There is no notable difference between GondorCastleWall and RohanCastleWall...

Both objects don't appear in the experiencelevels.ini, so this might point towards a possibility that the amount of points they get for attacking the structure is not defined this way...

You really like finding the little things that are wrong don't you? :p

My advice for you is, look for links to the rohan walls in other files, if there are links, make sure that they also exist for the gondor walls...

Also did you test this attacking on walls with exactly the same unit for both the walls? that way you somewhat ensure that it is not the unit causing this problem?

This is one issue that was recognised by Maddox (1.03 patch maker).

​The issue is when you destroy the walls of gondor you do not receive any powerpoints,

same thing when you kill a rebuilding tower you gain no reward unlike with the rohan castle.

So my question is where would I need to add an PP reward mechanism.

Gondor: GondorCastleElevator, GondorCastleWall 
Note: Gondor tower does gives powerpoints when destroyed but its during the construction when the tower gets destroyed by an enemy that this enemy doesn't recieve powerpoints.

 

Rohan:  RohanCastleWall, RohanCastleUpgrade
