hi, i am an old fan of the bfme series,
i am going to get another (preowned version) of bfme 1 as i have misplaced it.
what do i have to do to get the online working and does the online actually work?

Hi,
custom match, chat & friend messenger work already, Quickmatch/Stats don't work yet.
There's a good explanation on how to set up T3A:Online over here. Switch to "Plain Text", and you can read all the steps you need to do.
Currently the server is offline (you can read that at the top of the page I linked you to), I can't tell you why exactly, but I'm sure it will soon be back on. Usually it is online 24/7. I suppose there's a maintenance/bug fix right now
