I would like to see the M102 from Rules of Engagement.

The D20 damage is 4d10x2, if you don't know.

And that's more than most ground-based lasers or blasters.

I believe it is either a concussion missile that splits into six and then homes in (If homing upgrade is found) or six concussion missiles fired from the ship and then home in on enemies (if homing upgrade is found). They get stronger with the advanced cluster missile upgrade as well.

That seems rather overpowered. I don't like it.

I wasn't able to get it to work right anyways. Even when fired from six different hardpoints, they would still not fire simultaneously or at the same target always.

The V-wing does not have cluster missiles. That is not in the original RPG sources, and was added for the game.

Make it an upgrade?

I don't know. What do they do, anyway?

The V-Wing just has two BLASTER cannons, while the Airspeeder has LASER CANNONS...the V-Wing would have the firepower of two soldiers...

The difference between "blaster" and "laser" for vehicle weapons (at least from d20 RPG sources) is negligible... the authors really don't make a distinction. I'm probably going to have to take some liberties to either change the naming scheme, or change the damage values.

Could the V-wings be an upgrade for speeders?

I don't think so, the V-Wings lack the Tow Cable.

You know, come to think of it, what would the advantage of the V-Wing be in-game?

Not all blaster cannons are the same. Those are starfighter-scale cannons, giving it laser power equal to a Z-95.

And Cluster Missiles
