Ghost,

If still desired:

name: feld
previous beta experience: none - but I've been in nuclear power for damn near a decade. Detailed and retentive problem reports are a way of life.
previous experience with PR - Bought FoC only to play PR v1.1. Many man-days of playtime (mostly imperial). Also, I made the hardpoints FAQ. Generally think I know SW canon, where PR is coming from, and can help find issues therein. Examples of perhaps useful previous posts - though not sure if any of these really influenced the mod much:

-Feedback on your new campaigns
-Feedback on the complement mechanic
-Starbase/Space Colony "FAQ"

available time: aye, there's the rub. A couple game-hours a week tops.

But I've got some (spotty) availability if you guys need testers.

Other than the advice and suggestions I've offered, and the small amount of help I have directly contributed to this mod...I don't have much other official testing experience. I'm an official playtester for the Seven Deadly Sins mod for Sins of a Solar Empire, though since the mod has been attempting to convert to Entrenchment, my testing for that fell out a ton. I don't think I've really influenced that mod.

But, if you'll have me, I have more time available now that work cut some hours.

Sorry, Ghost, but unfortunately I'm too busy :( Maybe I'll be able to help later on, after release of 1.2 :p

I have no real testing experience, but I've been playing PR for a year and a half, and I know something about modding, and I have some time to do it.

....(Walks in)
Ello, names Ring Of Fate, but you can call me Ringy, huge fan of the mod (Oddly I just found out that Revora hosted this mod :tiger: but besides the point), I hope it will become fully compleated in the future. And I want to help any ways I can. And finally a way opened up. I am a beta tester to a lot of BFME1-2 ROTWK mods, so I know the routine. And I have LOADS of free time. I'd like to be a beta tester. Wait, why would I be posting if I didn't? :p
Edit: Forgot a few details. ;)

I've been beta testing for the RJ mod for two or three years now. You'll probably find most of my mod-related posts there.

I'll gladly test, as I generally have nothing to do on most cases.

Found my CD, patched it up to 1.1 and ready for testing if needed :p

I'm available for testing.

If it helps I used to be a beta tester for the fairly popular Shockwave Mod for C&C Generals Zero Hour.

I know how to beta test, and I'm available.

I'll put this up as main news for you :p And I'll try and find my FoC disk again. I'm not at home for 2 weeks but I can install it on my Laptop, it should be able to run fine on it.

My experiene is:

Beta testing LotrO & BFME2 and the RJ Mod that's on T3A here. Hope that's enough, most of my bug reports were sent via email. This all depends on if I find my FoC cd lol.

Hi all,
There are a lot of changes coming through PR at the moment, what with complete campaign overhauls and some interesting news due for release next week, so I want to put the call out for Testers.

If you want to take part in testing, I need to see some decent background on the forums, so please let me know how much experience you have on the current mod, any modding backgrounds and how much spare time you have!

For example, Tropical Bob, Kacen and Keraunos and Pred the Penguin are regular contributors to the forums and have given reams of good advice in the past. I see This level of contribution as a benchmark quality standard for testing. Unfortunately Bob's work commitments currently prevent him from helping at this stage. ;) So can anyone else offer their time? :p

Obviously testers will get to see some interesting developments and we need constructive criticism on the changes - but testers will need to be discreet as well. ;)

If you want to be involved, please put forward some evidence of experience, and it would be most helpful if you could link in key threads where your comments got the forums talking, or where your suggestions resulted in changes to the mod.

I look forward to hearing from you:
Ghost.
