I forgot to thank you Ghostrider for developing the patch in first place, so thanks for the patch and yes, I will put suggestions forward but so far I have been having a great time with this mod.

Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks for responding. The land assault patch did make land battles payable but there are still problems like land vehicles moving very fast. But I am not going to complain a lot as I quite happy with the patch and I am really having a great time using this mod. Thank you Tropical Bob

Hi Dominator.
I'm glad the land patch helped. Even so it still took 3 months te get right!

And yes, I only fixed the worst offenders in unplayability - there is still a LOT wrong with it. Sigh.

the main aim of the patch was to make land imperfectly playable as opposed to perfectly unplayable, so it seems to have done the trick!

Please fire up as many suggestions for improvements for both the Land patch and any other part of the mod.

Hey there and welcome to the forums.

Land is certainly a known issue to the PR team, and from what I know, there won't be any serious work done with Land until the Space mode conversion is completed. This could continue through another couple releases as PR works to perfect what he's been working on. The v1.1 release's Land changes basically just gave everything canonical stats, which the FoC map system wasn't actually designed for.

For now, though, Ghostrider went ahead and revamped quite a lot of Land combat in his Land Assault Patch. You can find that here, located in the Releases page.

My recommendation is really just to autoresolve Land combat. Raiding gets you quite an Autoresolve power boost even though its restricted to Infantry only, but I'd definitely recommend overwhelming force for any real Land invasions.

After downloading the P.R 1.1. I started the shadow hand campaign and I enjoyed the space battles, however the land battles had a few major problems, I apologize if this issue has been talked about but the AT-ATs are very fast in movement just like AT-STs. And all units and the turbo lasers are firing from different corners of the battlefield. So has anyone come up with a solution to this problem.
