Hey, how can i change the weapon a unit is holding and its animation? found nothing in the units or weapon rgd.

You need to added the new weapon with 3ds max then set up the firing and vis actions with OE.

There is a mod packager that is part of Relic's modding tools.

It requires a bit of set up though.

Unification team, how did you make the .sga files? Whenever I try to do it with corsix it gives error messages and doesn't finish. Are you using a different program to pack ,sga files?

Edit: I realized the .sga is in the corsix folder. But it still doesn't work ingame after change the .module file.

First of all, I just checked, and all models in the Blood Angels are in their PROPER place. :thumbsupcool:

Reusing the space marine files seemed like a good way to reduce file size.

Sounds like a good idea, but eventually it is not, because you only save DISC?STORAGE space. And not game memory space.

Because the engine "renders" the textures of each race in real time (WTPs).

Even if you make a game with 8 Space Marines the game mem (which is MUCH more important then the Disc Required Storage Mem of course), renders the Space Marines textures EIGHT TIMES, each for each players, loading 8 Space marines players, INDEPENDENTLY.

So again, by reusing models from other races, you DO reserve memory, but only because those models are NOT rendered for YOUR Army Colour selection -> and this is actually the reason for the COLOUR BLEEDING.

Space marine vs space marine doesn't cause color bleeding, so I don't understand why blood angels vs space marines do.

Of course they do not, the reason as I said above, is that for each player, the textures are rendered anew.

In short:

NEVER INHERIT!!

NEVER re-use models!

Well, this sounds like colour bleeding - which means the two races are using models/textures from the exact same folder.

BUT we have dedicated folders for Blood Angles (at least in my latest internal build!). And have no issue whatsoever brother Moreartillery.

But let me check again.

I'm having an issue where blood angels colors get applied to space marines. It only happens if blood angels and space marines are in the same match. Blood angels banner gets on the space marines too, it makes them both look like blood angels regardless of what colors the space marine player picked. I looked through the racebps and team color files and didn't find anything wrong. So I tried moving the blood angels team color files to the recycle bin but the now blank team color was still applied to the space marines.

No.  You need to read the documentation and/or look at all the near hundred examples out there. Its not the way it is since the mid '00s for general its and grins, man. We know it works as a massive handful of faction mods use the logic. ;)

Trust the logic that went before you. <:)
