I just spent the last few hours working on the Axis barracks & I’m nearly done but I feel like it’s missing something but I don’t know what, any ideas? (I know it’s missing the shadow BTW, I’ll do that when it’s finished)

I would say a flag. Either this one but I would suggest the Nazi flag to get a hold of historical accuracy. Of course any sane person would understand that this mod doesn't propagate any ideology or political beliefs of Nazism.

Definitely a flag. And maybe a small tower in it's back.

A thick training walls on the back and right (from our view). The tower and flag goes the opposite side. Should add something to the roof cause it looks a bit too ordinary

You could also put a little bit of a concrete walk area out the front of the two buildings.. or a muddy path leading up to the two doors :p just to give a little extra effect ;)

Oh and a flag ;)

The detail is superb, but a flag might be in order. ;) Might look good to have a guard tower inbetween the barracks or at the far corner, maybe then with the flag tied to it.

Sorry but no flag, they’re reserved for the conyard (which I’m making atm too BTW). If you want a wall or tower then just build your own ingame, it’s already filled up it’s 3x3 foundation too so I can’t/don’t want to add any more.

Anyway here is an updated version:

For some reason it reminds me of RA. Looks nice . Will infantry be that small as those doors?

looks absolutely fine as it is.
a bit of a chimney on one of the two blocks, some smudges of rust to differenciate them perhaps? It's hard to come up with something as the facades are pretty small, not much room to add too much.

btw is the site down or is it just me?

I'll probably work on it some more adding dirt & rust as you said.

Ah that's nice. You're right Mig, since the conyard is the command center, it does deserve the flag on it :p

I wouldn't sugget a watch tower beside it. It might look like a POW barracks with it though

Do you have to Mig? :( It looks much better like that. Perhaps just add up those dirt and rust before the lifebar reaches red?

Perhaps, to show that it's for the Axis, you should put a swastika or something on the side. You know, so it looks, painted on.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.
Razgriz intrerpretation

Uh, is this to go in a shed shop salesfloor or a gritty WWII enviroment? I mean its clean
And the concrete doormats look strange.
Mud it down where people have been walking or something, makes it look lived in and blends better with the terrain, won't look like its floating so much.
But at the same time, its very very good

It wouldn't hurt if it's clean without any rusts since the civilian structures around it will be clean without any rusts as well, hence it will blend perfectly with the environment.

Since this is the Axis barracks, does this mean Japan and Italy will have the same type of barracks, different from the Allies, eh Mig? I thnk it's ok like that since they're fighting on the same side, and less work. Less work means less waiting! Mwahaha!

The "environment" will mostly be full of craters & rubble o_0 well at least it should be after a while :p

The Japs will get their own buildings & a lot of other thing too. They are independent from the Axis in the same way the Soviets are from the Allies etc.

Awww :( C'mon Mig, don't you think it would be more fun if we players will be the ones doing the craters and rubbles instead of having the war-torn environment setting immedietely? :p
