If God loved us so much, why does he make us suffer?

Well what i find funny is that they say there is a reason to suffering and pain that me shall know in the after life.

Pain is your bodies way of telling you something is wrong not to tell you that u have to suffer for a later date

I am christian.
Lying here with you
I watch you while you sleep
The dawn is closing in
With every breath you breathe

I can feel the change
The change you've made in me
But will I ever see
All the things you see in me

When you say that I'm one of a kind
Baby, I don't see it but you believe
That I'm so strong and true, I promise you
I'll try to be that kind of man
Because you love me like I am

"For years, many governments played down the threats of Islamic revolution, turned a blind eye to international terrorism, and accepted the development of weaponry of mass destruction. Indeed, some politicians were happy to go further, collaborating with the self-proclaimed enemies of the West for their own short-term gain---
But enough about the French."

doax had an even larger avatar if you remember :)

If God loved us so much, why does he make us suffer?

Because some believe that he gave us free will. We live our life the way we want and that is what God is to have apparently wanted. (im not religious btw, im agnostic)

Why do you believe in something that has no great influence on your life? If God exists, and He wants people to believe in Him, why not prove to the world that He exists.

Who has ever said that "God" has wanted people to believe in him? has he spoken to you then and said has he? People just believe in God cause they choose to follow a certain belief. You can't go making random statements like that which arent true when it is your belief rather than a fact

Obviously free will, if you believe in the bible humanity thought it didn't need god so god let them do what they wanted, its free will, its like saying videogames incite violence but it doesn't cock a gun. Also most suffering is either natural and wouldn't affect us if we were not there or it's man made.

Why do you believe in something that has no great influence on your life? If God exists, and He wants people to believe in Him, why not prove to the world that He exists.

Religion affects a lot of peoples life, to some people its brings purpose, hope a security blanket if you will, to me its makes me an generally nice guy and not a noob :)

I also not judgemental I dont believe its always one way, I think god in the end, whoever he is is gonna judge us for what we did in our lives, I'm wishing you to a happier place deso, besides your ICT teaching is probably helping kids from messing up  A

Also Jewish don't eat meat not just for religious reasons but also for health reasons, there is this muscle eating worm that lives in hot countries and in pigs and this guy my teacher told me about, said this worm wasted all his muscles beofre chewing on his heart.

However when I say I'm Christian I'm not catholic as that seems far too hardcore, its a power control mechanism full of corruption (no offence to devote catholics) but it seems to be this constant fear, you are not worthy. For instance pleasure is not SIN, it's only bad when you make your number 1 pirority at the expense of others, then church. The actual building is not religion, its just dead wood and stone. Religion is the persons belief, not some stupid statue or a cross.

Religeon, to me has served its purpose. As mentioned earlier it is a safety blanket. However, what safety is it providing now? Islamic terrorists, Nazis slaughter of Jews during world war 2, ethnic cleansing in Yugoslavia. All done in the name of God. I beleive we need to accept we no longer need the safety blanket. Mankind needs to walk on their own two feet or remain in a circle of religeous hatred until we all end up killing each other.

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

I don't believe in god. I've had times where i have or i have wanted too. I find it impossible. A thing that can't be seen and is so powerful he controls gravity the earth everything. I believe in parts of the symbolicly, but not literally. It was written on old jewish laws i believe and it was a safety blanket to fears and 'explained' what happened after death so people wouldn't fear it so much. Although i believe death is the end, nothing after. Scary thought really but you wouldn't know you were dead so i don't think it matters.

Personally i hate this life, i hate this world, i hate these people, but yet i'm living with it fine. They say only the strong survive in it, its true too, if you wasn't strong and didn't stand by your beliefs and let people walk all over you, push you around, think they are better than you, i'd think you'd kill yourself.

My views yet again...

Well people who say they fought for there religion is bloody hyprocritical and Islamic leaders would not support it. There is no such thing as holy war now. In the past yes when god wanted a special people but then he kinda realised it didn't work. So what if Jews died because of there religion, they had the faith and the ability to stay with there religion even after seeing there babies crushed or family being gassed, I'm not jewish but I find it offensive for people to blame bad shit on God, we do it, it ain't satan or whatever that causes us to develop weapons of mass destruction or rape, pillage, etc, its human greed, his emotions, no-one and I mean no-one can stand on there own too feet in this planet, we rely on living in safety and are fortunate that we are not starving our guts or being persecuted because of beliefs, you should feel forunate you have rites. Too many people mess about with lifes, not caring, going for this life is balls attitude, if its so bad why not just get a knife and slit you veins? Why trundle on this existience, if religion is a safety blanket, then let people have it, don't contradict it with scientific views of other crap, its our way of living on this planet which let faced is screwed up by OURSELVES, geez thinking that people are someone have the I.Q. or guts to stand up by themselves...
