Well, I have recently discovered my love for voxeling ^_^ , so I've decided to start a new topic for which I will place all of my voxels before they are sent off to resource sites.

Enough of that, lets cut to the chase. I have been inspired by Mental Omega, it's full of awsome voxels and various other graphics :p . But one thing that caught my attention was MO's Aeroblaze. Mainly the fact that the cameo and the voxel really didn't match each other. So I decided to try and make a voxel that looked like the Aeroblaze in the cameo:

I also noted that the base of the cameo was from TJFrame's Tesla Mammoth Concept, so I used my Tesla Mammoth base as a starting point.

Feedback would be much appreciated :p

I was just wondering why MO's aeroblaze has multiple barrels... Keep it up with these vxls!

Both looks nice.

Why not make a version of that Quad Cannon which has a turret tilting to the air so it can be AA?

The turret looks a bit oversided for the truck. I'd move the guns from turret to barrel and give them a slant, as O-Bolt suggested.

Really nice voxels. You appear to be really good with voxeling out concepts and other things. But will you make some voxels, based on your own concepts?

I did not like the first Aeroblaze that mutch, but yours is alot better, nice work :shiftee:
And Quad Cannon is nice to. What will you do next?

Actually, that cameo is based of a real life tank's photo.

Oh well, it looked the Tesla Mammoth base to me :ohmy:

You've got to be kidding me?! So fast?

Well, who ever you are, the voxel needs some improvements. The gun is too big, the voxel itself is a bit taller and slicker than it should be and some other minor details are missing. And I do see some normals problems on the wheels, am I right?

Either way, this voxel has a lot of potential. :p

Just to let you know, it's possible to have the quadcannon barrells recoil when firing, just make barrell sections in the section editor with the turret, and animate them in hva editor, and you have it! :p

Don't need to animate them afaik. I assume TurretRecoil, TurretTravel, BarrelTravel, BarrelCompressFrames, BarrelHoldFrames and BarrelRecoverFrames work with vehicles.

No, that's not me :) and that voxel needs some improvements:

1. It's not in the soviets scheme
2. It only has one set of tracks, while the concept has 4
3. The concept has MG's on the side of the hammer like cabin
4. No soviet symbol
5. Gun too big

And the normals leave a lot to be desired :p

That aside, I have modified the guns so that they tilt slightly towards the air:

@Gosho- I like that concept magnetron :p I will definately give it a go!

@OmegaBolt- Sadly, no TurretRecoil, TurretTravel, BarrelTravel, BarrelCompressFrames, BarrelHoldFrames and BarrelRecoverFrames don't work on vehicles :( that's what lead to the demise of my barreled Tank Destroyer! :p
