book first: why weren't the nazgul at the last alliance? it would seem to me a good time to use them. If someone knows, please tell me.
Now the mod: all the mordor minfactions seem to have a nazgul hero. Is there any difference, or are they the same?
Many thanks

The nazgul were at the last alliance, but frankly they were no match for the Last Alliance army so they were barely mentioned. I find it highly unlikely they didn't take part.
The Nazgul's main strength is fear. Put them, alongside crappy orcs, against an enormous host of elves and men, led by many great chieftains and their main strength is pretty much useless.

*lvl 1) Screech
*lvl 2/3) Red Eye, (possibly similar to Blademaster? I dunno)
*lvl 4/5) Evil leadership
the Nazgul of Mordor and Morgul can mount Fellbeasts, the Nazgul of Dol Guldur and Rhun have Horses. Now each of the other Nazgul have one unique power which they aquire at higher levels.
* Foul Stench) for the Nazgul of Mordor, (Overwhelms surrounding units).
* Haste of the Nine) for the Nazgul of Dol Guldur, (inceases nearby cavalry speed).
* Black Breath) for the Nazgul of Morgul, (High level damage attack, cripples enemy).
* Rhunic Leader) for the Nazgul of Rhun, (grants veterancy to the Easterlings).
Khamul:
*lvl 1) Screech
*lvl 2) Mount Horse
*lvl 4) Rhun Leader (Grants Leadership to Easterling)
*lvl 7) Dust Cloud (Targeted Enemies loose their vision for a while)
*lvl 10) Shadow of Fear (Enemy units are under control of Khamul temporarily)
the Witch-king of Angmar:
*lvl 1) Mount horse
*lvl 2) Fell Screech (Much worse than the other Nazgul screeches and lasts longer)
*lvl 4) Mighty Flail (weapon toggle, deals more damage but slows him down)
*lvl 5) Morgul Blade (Deals High level damage to enemy heroes)
*lvl 8) Mount Fellbeast
*lvl 10) Hour of the Witch-King (all surrounding enemy hero powers are reset)
And there you go.

* Decsend) for the Nazgul of Mordor, (the Fellbeast can fight on the Ground).
It's been confirmed that the fellbeasts cannot do the landing power thing.

Quoted for the truth. They probably never took part in much of the fighting, they were just staying in the back lines giving orders. But then the idiot Sauron walks up in all his regalia and tries to take them all on. The arrogant bastard.I can answer your book question I think.

Again, quoted for the truth. They were some nice guesses there Uruk King, but yeah, you did sound like it was fact. Anyway, I seem to recall a certain upgrade of Mordor which allows some of the Nazgul to mount their Fellbeasts...maybe that button is used as the upgrade.* Decsend) for the Nazgul of Mordor, (the Fellbeast can fight on the Ground).

Like I said in the Heropowers thread, the Red Eye thing, and decsend are pobably the only ones that are wrong, anyway, I've changed the descend power. to somethin closer to th discription.* Decsend) for the Nazgul of Mordor, (the Fellbeast can fight on the Ground).

By the way: the description you've written about the Fellbeasts doesn't sound very likely, Uruk King (sorry to contradict your thoughts yet again, but they don't sound logical).
