Inn System/Units

The idea I am working with right now is to have 10 levels to the inn, that increase the more units/upgrades/heroes you call for.
Level 1 - basic units - generally 3
Level 2 - 1-2 mid-level units & Banner Carrier Upgrade
Level 4 - High-level units, Forged Blades, Heavy Armor
Level 5 - Upgraded Arrows, other specialized upgrades
Level 7-10 - Heroes that can be purchased for the battle - Treebeard in fashion where they come at a specific level and don't really respawn but are re-purchased.
So that is the overall idea of what I'm working on now. The first step is trying to figure out exactly how I want to integrate and get it to work. I've got a lot of it set up, but the problem that I am facing is the maintaining of upgrades. With captured buildings the upgrades that are purchased at the object level are all reset as soon as the building is captured. So basically if you get the inn to level 2 then it is captured. When you recapture it you cannot get the level 2 upgrades.
I'm working on different ideas with Player upgrades and such, so that when you raise any inn to level 2 you unlock the benefits from the level. The hard part is granting a player upgrade from an object gaining a level in the epxeriencelevels.ini file. It does not work as I expected, but I'm working through and trying to resolve the bugs. Once that is done I'm going to go through and add everything in.
One change that I'm working on is ensuring that all units purchased from the inn carry-over into the living world in WotR. This, in my opinion, is one of the changes to WotR that will add to the complexity and the make-up of the armies you create as you conquer middle-earth.
As a note, I'm always looking for units to make up new faction alliances, new heroes, etc. so if anyone is interested in helping flesh out some of the alliances, that would be great. The idea is that not every alliance will be the same. Each one will cost a different amount, and I'm working on alliances costing different amounts depending on the faction. So that elves will be a cheaper ally to gondor than to dwarves, etc. The complexity is increasing, and it is turning into one of my favorite parts of the mod.

"From this seal shall arise the doom of men,"
"who, in their arrogance, sought to wield our fire as their own."
"Blindly they build their kingdoms upon stolen knowledge and conceit."
"Now they shall be consumed by the very flame they sought to control."
"Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair."
"Tremble, mortals, and despair! Doom has come to this world!"

Yeah, that was me. But I also agree with you about expanded Angmar Inn units, so that angmar could spam all the orcs they need to keep the enemy on their toes. I like your ideas.btw, i think it was uruk king ( srry if not you ) who wanted see more orc units for Angmar.

I also thought that mabye, Arnor should have an expanded menu of Inn units, instead of Rohan peasants that can't repair anything, howabout Dwarven Masons, the Dwarven equivalent to peasants. They have the same skin as the Dwarven Porter and they carry pickaxes into battle. Just to give Arnor a better sense of Alliance with other races.
