Then how about this, they're free at the start of every mission. Kind of like how you have civilians to help or how the barracks spits out free infantry every so often.

Well, Royal's idea went a but far, like I siad, Infantry for purely tactical purposes, but not an overbearing amount.

Sorry for that, what I meant to say is, I can't help it. I got ideas. So, infantry is yet to be decided. Okay then, new idea, what of shields? Gundam ships never had any shields but they do have anti-beam coated armor. The shield bar can represent the strength of the coating. That should be a lot simplier.

Alright how about the naval ships, in any case they will create one, does ZAFT have superiority in terms of mobile units in numbers, for in OMNI there are the Forbidden Vortex only, but they have the superiority in terms of naval ships. How about the Spengler Class ship can deploy ground units if near the shore, like in Gundam Seed.

OMNI has the Forbidden Blue, Forbidden Vortex and Euclid. And technically almost any MS can enter water.

Yep, but the question of whether or not they will perform well is a whole different story.

Easy example, obviously a Dagger in water will not be as agile as a GOOhN, or even a Ginn WASP.

Hmmm, with aquatic Mobile Suits, maybe they should be deployed only by subs. Nothing else can enter the water. Except in shallow water where any mobile suit can stand guard.

Then how could the OMNI Enforcer deploy their aquatic mobile suits, even though they have submarines it does not offer docking bay for mobile suits. The Alliance could just deploy it from their carriers such as the Splengler class. While for ZAFT they could also deploy air units like in the series, where they could launch air suits to battle, to counter act the Alliance could also deploy air units. How about the large mobile armors of the Alliance such as the Euclid, it has the power of a ship and a strong shielding to protect it.

Are you so sure about the subs not having docking space? We actually have no information on the subs, so dont jump to conclusions.

Euclid isnt actually very large or powerful. Its just abit better in some ways to a MS, and worse in others.

True. I know nothing of their subs. However, I think they were dropped by ship into the water.

I want to agree with Royal here, the EAF cant really spend that much money on planet-side weapons that cant be deployed in space at all, it'd be a complete waste wouldnt it? Especially since their plan is always to take the fight to ZAFT in space.

Besides, underwater MS developement for the EAF is mostly thrown together at the last minute, there are a few special units, but no mass produced squadrons whatsoever. their main strength in water is their battleships, as we've seen many times.

Their submarines, from the looks of it, are mainly for transportation, remember that er did ger a full shot of on in SEED when people were leaving Alaska. doesnt look nearly big enough to have MS docking space.

Im not saying that they are definitely used for MS transportation. But we have no evidence one way or another.

Anyway, i suppose the mjolnir or something or other thing anti-air cannon was a cheap piece of equip, hm? At heaven's base.

Oh, that cannon in Iceland. To be far, lets cut the "super weapons". I mean, not only will it be impossible to create but also quite unfair.

In that case...then why does zaft have so many terrestrial based units? No, eaf must build terrestrial based weapons as well, or they cant fight back at zaft.

Shouldnt the game feel as real as possible?

Some reasons i dont really like eaw anymore is that it is so deviant from the canon star wars.

Proton torpedoes penetrate shields...yeah right...

Mon cal crusiers can outfight star destroyers, since they dont have a targetable shield generator hardpoint....yeaaaaahhh....riggghhttttt......

And so on.

Did i mention where when playing as the rebel alliance, i feel like another empire rather than a rebel uprising? Complete with starships that outfight the empire's, yeah....
