I think if we can consider C'baoth as an agent of the Empire enough to give them to the Imperial hero team, we should give them Luuke as well.

Both of them are debatably Imperial, but at least Thrawn manipulated C'baoth enough to serve the interests of the Empire, and his battle meditation was an important component of his success. Really it came down to a need for more Imperial heroes in TC that I added him. Luuke, on the other hand, didn't really do much of anything.

Also, shouldn't Mara be a Rebel hero for this GC.

Probably another one of those faction-switching situations. She was still somewhat Imperial until she was able to fulfill The Last Command. Perhaps that alone would be reason enough to add Luuke: kill him and you can recruit Mara.

I don't know. She was the root cause of the destruction of Mount Tantiss, definitely not something an Imperial would do.

Luuke didn't do much because of how the story went about ending. If there was a different ending that played out because of different actions around the war, as would happen if you controlled one of the sides, more might've happened.

Mara wasn't necessarily Imperial, but she was associated with them before she was the New Republic.

Mara wasn't necessarily Imperial, but she was associated with them before she was the New Republic.

Whenever given an option, she acted against them.

I've compiled a list of hero locations for the Thrawn Campaign from Wookieepedia, however, I'm sure it's not exhaustive. That's why I need your help to fill in any blanks by checking the original sources. I've listed the most important ones, but there are probably others. It would save me a ton of time to focus on other changes if the community could help with this, so thanks in advance.

Do you still want feedback on this? I've just finished re-reading the Thrawn Trilogy a week ago in prep for playing the v1.0 Thrawn Campaign through. Your posted location list looks good from my memory...but I'll want to check them out from the library again to do a real check. It shouldn't take long...but I'd rather not do it if you don't need the info.

That said, I'm thinking that the list of Imperial heroes is short, particularly in the ground/spec ops type area. I realize that you're working space right now and that they have almost 200 KATANA fleet dreadnoughts to compensate...but if you're looking for ideas:

1. Agree with Tropical Bob and recommend including Luuke in the spirit of a plausible continuation of existing circumstances: Luke's hand was part of the treasure trove that Thrawn unlocked at Mount Tantiss. It certainly seems that it would've occurred to him to clone Luke, especially since his other Force user (Joruus) was...becoming increasingly less controllable due to the clone madness thing. Thrawn's innovation in the cloning process was the use of ysalamiri to grow clones in regions devoid of the Force, thus reducing or eliminating clone madness. Eventually, I figure he would've sat down and put the effort in to get a more controllable Force user.
2. Rukh (Thrawn's bodyguard). There are other named Noghri you could use as well.
3. General Freja Covell was the principle (I believe only) Imperial Remnant ground forces commander featured in the books. He leads at least one ground assault (Myrkyr, I think) and was apparently rather good at it.

Good ideas personally, I never even thought of Covell. Also I personally don't think Luuke should be in the the mod since I think if Thrawn did know about him (though who is to say he didn't) he would probably kill him the first time he saw him. Also I think that Mara and Karrde should go to the NR since your campign is after the Katana Fleet (hence start of Last Command) and Mara Jade was with the Rebellion all of the time, while Karrde was looking for information sources, even if he wanted credits, he still played an active part with helping them(In example, Coruscant with the asteroids). Just my 2 cents though :thumbsupsmiley:

I think the heroes for this campaign are pretty solid, so while I wouldn't mind the feedback if you have the time, I just as soon wouldn't bother. I'm more concerned with OSH.

I like the other ideas, but they'll probably make more sense when they can do something on the ground.

Good point; I didn't intend for that to be the case. It's supposed to start around the time of Tatooine Ghost. I suppose I'll have to address that at some point, perhaps by including some kind of event-based race for the fleet, although I'm unsure on the conditions ATM.
