I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Me no see it saying WIP

I don't really like the carvings on the helmet and shoulder pads, because they seem unreal.. I do however, love the quality of the sword.. or, err, the sword on a whole :p
The orc is very nice too, and if it's suppose to be a goblin, it looks to much an orc than goblin IMO ;)

I wanted to make a Goblin at first. However, when I finished modelling it looked more corpulent than expected and I realised that it didn't look that bad. Oh, by the way, the design is not completely mine. The shoulders and the belt are from a LOTR Online drawing I found on google.

Lauri: Yep those carvings need their bump map adjusted.

If the concept is from LOTRO is 100% an orc not goblin .I like your interpretation tho .Might say his fingers are a bit weird.

I have been playing with skyboxess in bfme 1 trying to make more realistic enviromnents hiding the ugly black background that appears at the limits of the map. Finally, I ended up adding 3d mountains and extra-map terrain to hide the black background. That's the result in the MT map:

Obviously it can be improved by adding more and more detailed mountains, more terrain to create a better "depth" effect etc.

I made a copy of one of the existing skyboxes and by scripts hid the plane mountains. Then added another draw module with a w3d that included the mountains and the terrain. Easy, but complicated to adjust.

Very nice work. :thumbsupsmiley: This is a great improvement over the traditional skyboxes.

Wow this looks awesome!

And units that usually came out of the black mapborders won't be hindered by this?

Thanks for the coments. Dragonforce, this was not made for T4A, it's just something I had always wanted to see how it looked. Also note that it's bfme 1, not bfme 2 :)
