There's a small gap between the banner and the network bar, I presume it's supposed to be like that but I think it'd look better and tidier without the gap.

Only other thing I can say is the "Revora Front Page" links etc. bar looks a bit weird. Bigger font, or put a box around the text or something

Hmmm... don't know what's causing that small gap. It isn't intentional. The same thing is happening on the main site too.

I made the font bigger. Tell me what you think. ;)

Just one thing, I think that the subforums links in hte forum description should have an hover (brighter color certainly).

Fixed. ;)

I changed the text colors for the posts to a brighter yellow. I also brightened the forum description (red-orange) text. What does everyone think?

Very good ... and very easy to read! :)
My first impression was that a shade more yellow would fit better with the saturation of the skin, but getting used to it ... well, it's about perfect.
Thanks ;)

Yep colours are definitely better. Re: that bar thing, I dunno - it just doesn't look right. I'm being picky but, they're not *deadly* centred ;) Try line-height: {height of image} if you can't get it to centre perfectly. I would just maybe say that those links need like a box around them, even if it is slightly transparent or something.

Also - very good of you to accept the critique! I know from experience that especially with forum skins (that take ages) you can spend ages looking at it while you build it and it ends up looking great but other people will spot heaps of flaws...;)

I've only ever made one *complete* IPB skin (this), it's a horrible skinning engine really but you're doing a great job :)

Firstly, the text colours for those fields would of course still require to be some kind of blue, red and green. Secondly, I could remove the colour part from the markup and replace it with simply a class, but that means we'd need to add such a definition to each and every past and future skin to make sure it shows up correctly. In other words, it's much easier if you adjust the background colour in this one skin to fit those colours.

No. Just wrap the span in a class (or <div class="style etc.">) but leave the colour in the markup and just replace it for the T3A skin. And @2play, yeah classes would definitely be better. My bad.

And for the header, try a margin-top: -5px; on the header or something. Little hacky but will kill that problem (whatever it is).

As far as I know, style="" definitions override anything you set in a stylesheet, so having a class override the default styles will be impossible. I'm not totally sure what happens if you add !important to the stylesheet, but I don't expect it to override the inline styles...

It does!

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128)" class="pers_desc">Lorem ipsum dolor</span> + .pers_desc {color: red !important;} => give red text under Opera FF and ie7
<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128)" class="pers_desc">Lorem ipsum dolor</span> + .pers_desc {color: red;} => The text stays blue

I didn't think about the !important thing, nice thought ;)

It's a hack, really, but I guess it's less hacky than using Javascript ;)

Ok, I think I got the text centered. ;) As for the boxes, I'll have to think about that. May be difficult to do too.

Also - very good of you to accept the critique! I know from experience that especially with forum skins (that take ages) you can spend ages looking at it while you build it and it ends up looking great but other people will spot heaps of flaws...:)

Lol, did you read my mind or something! ;) Kind of how I feel but all the feedback and critique has made the skin much better. ;)

I've only ever made one *complete* IPB skin (this), it's a horrible skinning engine really but you're doing a great job :)

Aye, so true. You think they would make the skinning process easier. ;)

Yep, it worked. ;)

So what does this mean? Can we change the color of the blue and purple text?

Yes you can.

But I can't really explain myself how, since I don't know how the xhtml template is made, sorry.
But, here is the idea:

replace this:
<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128)">
by this:
<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128)" class="social_position">

And then go to the css and add that class:
.social_position {
color: #fff !important; /*change the color to fit with the skin */
}

Rob, you can now use .blue-text, .red-text and .green-text in your stylesheet. Please just make sure it stays some sort of blue, red and green, as that's what the fields are called.

The 5px border at the top comes from my stupid idea for the network bar styling to push everything down a little so the bar wouldn't annoyingly mix with the actual site content. I guess I'll have to change that on the bar style at some point, but until then, I'll find you the code to override those style definitions properly.

DLotS I was wondering if it is possible to add the breacrumb at the bottom of the page aswell?
I'm asking that because some forums are pretty huge, and like I sometimes navigate on the forums with my ipod touch this is really annoying to scroll up the whole page.

Hmmm, doesn't want to change. This is what I have:

.blue-text
{
	   font-size: 10px;
	color: #9B9BAA;
}

Wonderful, that's so much more clear! Kudos :p

Is there a way that you can't force a skin? Perhaps have it as a changeable default?

Sorry, but not really. Thus the reason why I am taking feedback from users to improve the skin. :p Also, remember that I can't do special requests for everyone and from it appears, most like the new skin so I probably won't change that. :p

To fix the gap in a way that won't break anything once I edit it globally:
#rnb__dropdowns {
min-height: 22px !important;
}
