And why did I start thinking that the balrog would overthrow sauron? Could it?

Back to the maps...
I'm about to start on the Moria campaign map. I don't think it will work to have a map just for the stairs in a lon-linear campaign like the one I'm doing, unless I added a new territory to WotR (which is a lot of work, from what I hear from RJ, and would require modeling,) but it might be able to be combined with the Moria level, possibly.
Anyway, I want my campaign level to look as much like the skirmish map as possible, so keep me up with screens, please.
Are you interested in doing mainstream campaign levels? This would be like the campaign levels that are similar to normal skirmish maps. I'm not very good at skirmish-style maps, but can handle the other campaign levels, like Moria and Shelob's Lair that are more linear and rpg-like.

It probably could, since Sauron probably sucks without the ring. I always thought the Balrog would make an awesome ring hero. To balance it's uber-strength, you could give in the ability to cause fear in your own troops, so all your Goblins run away from it. It would be more of a lone-fighter who goes of by itself on the other side of the map than an all-powerful hero who works with your army.
Since you're on the topic of ring-heroes, you might be able to have morgoth as one, but be unable to go too far away from your home fortress (That idea came from the fact that morgoth is a craven coward).
And you know what sauron's like without the ring. Remember that Eye of Sauron power? Okay in the beginning, but completely useless in the middle and end.
On the topic of the Moria map: Sure, I'll update you. Sorry for not adding screens for while. And if you want campaign maps, how about an Isenmouthe campaign. Even if there weren't very many battles there, it would be pretty straightforward. I would just add a HUGE force for mordor coming from behind isenmouthe from gorgoroth, and you have to survive the assault for a while, then as it starts to recede, you have to destroy the remaining force. There will be a group of orcs continually patrolling Isenmouthe behind the walls, in the courtyard, and in/around the castles.

I don't see any point in using Morgoth as a Ring Hero. I'm not sure what faction he would be for, and I doubt Sauron would share the ring with him.

This one is a view of the natural bridge in the campaign attached to the costum moria map.
Sorry if the screen makes everything look really wide.. Its not at all like that.
