Exactly what the topic states. We're looking for feedback on what you like and don't like. This will help me gear future releases, as this is more than just a small personal mod for me and has become a community mod.

So just post your reviews here, as 2+ years of work on the mod it will be good to hear the positive and negative of what people think of 1.06.

Even though it has probably been said quite often already, I'd like to express my extreme love for the two new Elven fortresses (and their buildings in general, but especially the fortresses) you have created. The attention to detail in these is simply stunning, and the models are gorgeus. The Lorien fortress stands out especially, I really like how each expansion ties in seamlessly with the main building and is connected to it.

Great stuff all around

Build me an army worthy of Mordor!

I recon that by being Rivindell and using their Sword Masters with Mirkwood Archers (The better kind) You can beat anything.
The nohedil (Don't know spelling) are AWESOME!

I find that rivendell has a relatively slow start, but weapon masters (the 700 level 2 barracks guys) are some of the best units in game. They do splash damage, and with forged blades....

I tried to play against brutals (had 2 hard allies). Units were training very slowly and I lost

This is meant more of a feedback/review topic rather than a discussion topic. So please, keep it that way ;)

It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Hey, although I kind of miss Elladan and Elrohir I think you've done a great job on the mod, more than I can expect. If you keep it up like this I think you'd be able to sell it as an expansion if it wasn't for those copyright obstacles. ;)

Anyhow, this is more of a wishful suggestion than feedback but...

Have you considered making the max height (camera height) more allowing? Personally I think that 300 is much too low, and I would be surprised if not at least a few others would appreciate being able to zoom out more as well.

I understand that this is very simple (although slightly time consuming considering the amount of maps) to change for each individual user, so I don't mind it too much staying like it is now. But it'd save me some hundred clicks each time a new version of the mod is released. ;)

The only problem that i have with the new version is that cavalry is completely unstoppable. 3-6 battalions of Gondor Knights CRUSHED 8+ Lorien Spearmen fully upgraded :( >> Any other ideas on how to stop cavalry butchering my army? ;)

More pikes. In the case of the elves, both Rivendell and Mirkwood have better pikes than Lorien. And, that's the Cavalry was supposed to be. Strong and nigh unstoppable.

After checking out the factions in skirmish map, I am very impressed with the progress. Arnor is much more fun to play with with the new Mithlond unit. I like how Rohan's Royal Guard's two unit are one. :) The new Mordor Witch-king I like and the new training queue for the orc buildings are refreshing. The Elves are incredible imo, from playing them I would suggest to those who play Elves and are having trouble with reinforcements: make sure ALL your training grounds have the dormitory upgrade.

Fabulous work... I've played a couple skirmishes as Rivendell, and the new stuff is fantastic!

I have some feedback on the Amon Hen map, though: There isn't enough level ground to build a decent amount of farms. It took me forever to get a decent CP level in the game I played. perhaps flatten it out a bit in the future?

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Get some heroes :)

Bah, those are useless.
Also, with the elves you can now get 9 HH if you get all the factions. Isn't that a bit too much? I mean, I took out 2 full camps and armies with just those 9 hordes.

Overall i love this mod. Like Arvedui's new skin. Looks sick. I was also wondering if the Dwarves got a new look on their fortress. I thought i saw in a picture the Dwarven Fortress had more of a stone looking texture. I dont know if i am mistaken. but when playing in game it had that ridiculous looking fortress when you get the Dwarven Stonework upgrade. The new new banner is sick looking, but i was really hoping for a new texture/skin for the fortress.

I logged on today for just a second, so I apologze to others if I missed comments/bugs/support questions, etc. Just I have to say that you caught us :) The dwarven textures are not 100% done and I accidentally posted some screens in the public section. Once they are done, you can trust that they will be included in one of the updates. The unit textures are all included. If you missed the screens, Shikari has done most excellent working transforming all of the dwarven buildings from the orange clown look to a stone/dwarven look. This is something to watch for (as RJ is not nearly done ;))

After playing RJ a little more, I'm pleased to say i like the new skins in the game very much. I'm also pleased to see that Mote is functional in WOTR thus far.
