Infantry types:
Light: Receives 100% of all damage.
Heavy: Receives 80% of all damage.
Veteran: Receives 65% of all damage.


Pioneer:

Strength: Low
Type: Light
Damage: None
Pioneers works like Engineers. They can capture buildings and are armed with MP-44. Though they're not trained to use that as well as elite infantry.
Special ability: Engineer stuff

Aufklärer:

Strength: Low
Type: Light
Damage: None
Aufklärer is camouflaged like sniper, but works like a scout and is unarmed.
Special ability: Camouflaged.

Volksgrenadier:

Strength: Low
Type: Light
Damage: Low against infantry, Medium against tanks and vehicles.
Volksgrenaders are the most basic infantry of the Wehrmacht. They are barely trained, and have low health.
Special ability: Deploy to use Panzerschreck.

Volksgrenadier (MP40):

Strength: Low
Type: Light
Damage: Decent against infantry, low against tanks and vehicles.
Upgraded Volksgrenadier, armed with MP40 SMG for added anti-infantry effectiveness, but it loses it's ability to deploy. Instead of deploying and pulling out panzerschreck, it can throw grenades.
Is obtained after buying "SMG Training" upgrade for Wehrmacht Quarters.
Special ability: Can throw grenades.

German HMG Squad:

Type: Light
Damage: High against infantry, low against vehicles
The German HMG infantry uses the MG42, called the Devil's Buzzsaw by American infantry because of the sound it makes when it fires.
Special Ability: None

German Mortar trooper:

Strength: Medium
Type: Heavy
Damage: Low when not deployed, Medium when deployed
The German mortar infantry carried a 30mm mortar, and could fire with high bursts at a time.
Special Ability: Deploys to use mortar.

German Sniper:

Strength: Low
Type: Light
Damage: Instant kill to infantry. Nonexistant against vehicles/tanks.
Snipers plays very important role on the battlefield, able to camouflage, scout and kill infantry with single hit makes it good to use.
Special Ability: Able to damage vehicles when elite. Camouflaged.

German Grenadier

Grenadiers were highly trained Volksgrenaders, and could throw bundled grenades at buildings and tanks.
Special Ability: Can throw grenades.

German Officer:

Strength: High
Type: Veteran
Damage: Low
German Officer could provide support for troops. However, only armed with pistol, but he could crouch and point at buildings to call in mortar support.
Special Ability: Can crouch to call in mortar support.

German Knights Cross Holders:

Strength: High
Type: Veteran
Damage: High
The Knights Cross Holders were the most powerful infantry of the Wehrmacht. They used MP44s and could throw bundled grenades. They dominated the battlefields.
Special Ability: Can throw grenades.
