Tip away. No prizes, unless someone wants to offer one. But if you do I can set a user group system so only someone from Revora's eligable for one. Otherwise, a bit of fun. And even if you know nothing about football, I'll make my infographics better once I add statistics!

Registered and tipped. By the way, Jeeves, until the group stages are over it might be worth you adding a tip for a draw. I'm pretty sure at least a few of those will end up inconclusive.

It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Someone's already learned HTML5 :) Not that I'm at all surprised.

Done my tips. Watching the opening ceremony now, and will try and watch as many games as I can.

Oh yeah, don't open it in IE, cos it won't style any of the HTML5 elements.
Vort, I did consider having 1pts for a draw and 3pts for a win, but axed that because if its drawn nobody gains advantage in the tipping leaderboard. Never thought of letting you tip for one though! Think its a bit late to change though as tips are already in.

Will try to get the leaderboard and team scores up as soon as possible. I hadn't anticipated a draw on the opening match so was up until 4am changing the score calculator to facilitate them >.<
Hate living in such a poor timezone, it means I'd have to stay up until 4:30am to watch England kick off! That is, assuming they're allowed the daytrip out of their retirement homes...
But Messi @ midnight? That's a date...

Haven't finished the other pages due to exams, but to update;
The current champ hasn't been wrong yet, and leads on 7. I'm a point behind.

In the Revoran lead, with 5 points apeice:
  • Puppeteer
  • matt
  • Gen.Kenobi
  • Vortigern

Following closely with 4 points:
  • Alathar
  • Copaman

Now the question is, when the Kiwi's loose tonight (/day for you lucky lot), will they loose enough to make the Aussies look good? :xcahik_:

Wow, it surprised me North Korea was actually a very decent team. Turtling and playing on the counter, reminds me of Greece from Euro 2004.

Yeah, except that Greece actually won the thing. If North Korea win the World Cup, the capitalist and democratic world will never hear the end of it. Though if they play that well against Portugal or the Ivory Coast, they might actually be in with a shot. That group isn't nearly so cut-and-dried as I thought, it would seem.

Oh, and for everyone in New Zealand: high fives all round! Best game I've watched so far. It was like watching a pub team. Or it would have been if the keeper had been chosen purely because he was the fattest dude they knew.

I'm pretty sure New Zealand's the only side there with players who don't have a club, one of whom hasn't played club football in two years. Then of the rest, half of them aren't even good enough for Wellington Pheonix - and if you know anything about the A-League, comparing Wellington Pheonix to a pub team is like comparing the Argyle with Barcelona.
Oscar Perez still gets my pick for most hilarious goalie though, think the midget ran with the ball further than South Africa in the first half, and would throw some acrobatics to stop a snail from 6" infront of his glove. Mexico's always good value, really. But he was the icing on the cake.
Also like the saying "Play like they never have, loose like they always do." Reminds me a bit of the Lions, only without the "play like they never have" bit.
