Outer Rim campaign: Vjun starts with a shipyard, but no space colony so it doesn't spawn.

Isn't the rear gun on the Lambda supposed to be turreted?

And the Empire has developed an impressive new version of the AT-AT...

That last one is something we can't fix, unfortunately...the alternative is allowing the AT-AT to deploy troops without stopping.

Didn't think so, but it's an amusing picture nonetheless.

I think the rear gun is fixed on the Lambda. They made it a turret for the Delta.

I'm not so sure about the AT-AT's head being inoperable. Deploy animations are used for a lot of diverse things - these are originally from Deploy Troopers, but they persisted when I turned it into a vehicle garrison. The rotation bug didn't exist in vanilla, so what changed?

I guess the AT-AT is literally deploying like an artillery unit now; ability deployment must be a different concept to the engine. Let's try some chiropractics with these tags from the MAL:

<Deployed_Turret_Rotate_Extent_Degrees>45</Deployed_Turret_Rotate_Extent_Degrees>
<Deployed_Turret_Elevate_Extent_Degrees>30</Deployed_Turret_Elevate_Extent_Degrees>

Hi

I cannot create a thread cause I dont sign up, and dont want to for now. I have an install problem.

System Details: Windows 7 64-bit I think 4 or 8 gig or ram, could be 6

Type Of Installation: I bought them both seperately, boxed

Updates: Installed all them

Mods: Imperial civil war, only in mods folder, nothing in main folder.
My Problem - when I install, It goes into the mods folder, there is no batch file or way to start it, I can put screeenshot here

The installer should create a desktop shortcut that will start the mod. If it hasn't, make sure you are running the installer as administrator. If you still can't get a shortcut to install correctly, copy one of the batch files from another mod, rename it, then right click on it, choose "Edit" and change the MODPATH folder to Mods/Phoenix_Rising_v1.2

Save that batch file and you should be able to run the mod using that. You should make sure the batch file is set to "run as administrator" in its compatibility settings.

Be sure to try the smaller galactic conquest maps. We're working hard on optimization for the next version, but until then the best thing to do is play campaigns like Core Worlds.

No problem! The important thing about performance is that we have hit the limits of the game engine so it has become very CPU-bound. That is, if your CPU is at all busy while playing the game, you can expect poor performance. Cooler temperatures will also help, since your CPU might be underclocking itself to stay cool.

Hi,

and remember -> The Game ONLY use one Core ... its dont matter if you have one or 16 cores at 2Ghz - it will still run at 1 core 2Ghz ... so for games, the important value is still the clock rate ....

I don't know if it was reported but Phase III Dark Troopers (the bigest guys) don't shoot at all. In vanilla they was artillery (should set up before firing), in PR 1.2 they don't have option to set up, so just standing there and dieing.

PS: It seems none of dark troopers can capture pods/bunkers either.

dark troopers are treated as droids - they don't have capture ability. They are supposed to act like infantry tanks.

I'll report on the Phase III's though. They are amazingly rare - possibly 1 instance of being used in mod??

It's a rigging problem with the original model. I wasn't able to rerig everything for the mini-mod, but I assure you it can work.

Bringing in Garm bel Iblis with the Elegos A'kla from hyperspace, you can jump him straight into another ship. I've done it with Venators and the Reef-Home Class Cruiser now on multiple worlds.

That's the case with all hero transports. The engine just doesn't check them for collision before hypering.

I found it preferable to edit in

<Deploys>no</Deploys>

Even though it now deploys troops when moving, the instance you let a troop exit it decelerates toward standstill. By the time the units appear on ground, the AT-AT has stopped. And no impossible head turnings... :)
