From here it looks like you're taking pictures, editing out the parts you want and then aligning them onto your skin. It's okay to do that, I used to do that too. Then I started skinning from scratch mostly. Faces, chainmaile and other bits are still taken from pictures and merged into my hand-drawn skin. Some times the pictures are too damn high in quality, and it will simply look better to mesh it into a texture.

 

It looks like you use that method, but I could of course be wrong. But it's nothing wrong with it.

Actually use several programs to design concepts and then pass them to the format of the model, which is to change the textures, what takes time is the concept

apparently did not understand,  not the concept art, drawing if what you want at the end
 
On the internet, books, etc...........  there are very good concepts of artists, one of which may be based to create a character skin for BFME 2
 
It's obvious that if any person in the world I think something interesting, you can take that to create new things and share with people, who like good. I hope you understand me
