I think if we make "game chat" to the main lobby, it would be easier to get more players on the new server and also faster game starts!

Yes it is a good idea, people get lost, and there are few, should be protected :)

We currently have no intentions to alter the original layout of the online lobby.

Well you may got me wrong. I didnt want you to alter anything at the original layout. Much more make people join "Game Chat" when they log in, so you dont have to search other lobbys to get a game going, especially at this time where not so many people using the new server yet. On old EA-Days the "2v2" Lobby was the Mainlobby and at the other lobbys were empty..

Yeah I agree with Revolutzer, making one common reference on all chats so when you put one message all lobbys can read it, hope is possible, and wont bring troubles, not much people playing around nowadays  so it would be efficient enough

^ I think what Revolutzer really meant was to make "Game Chat" the main chat room that everyone connects to first as he/she logs in. I don't see any harm in this if it's easy to do, but being able to read messages from all chatrooms and mix them together will cause utter confusion and make the whole idea of having multiple different chatrooms fairly pointless.

Obviously there won't be people 24/7 on the server and you need to keep in mind the time of day as well. When you login in your timezone it's not to say there will necessarily be any players for you to play with. My timezone is GMT + 2, and for me there are always people playing when login during the evenings and over weekends.

Staying on topic though, I vote that "Game Chat" should be the default chat lobby perhaps, just like the fellowship club is on BFME1. Either way, I'm just glad online functionality is finally available, so if you guys want to keep things as they are, it's all good with me. :)

As most of people complain about the fact there are few players on this server (compared to gameranger), I think this is a very good idea to "concentrate" them into one or two lobbys.
We actually don't need 9 lobbys.

If you don't want to delete the useless lobbys, you can at least put "discussion" as the default lobby without altering lot of things :p
