Even crazy alien cult people have no excuses for bad grammar.  Beyond that science cult floss, it's actually on topic well enough.  You can't have an outer civilization superstructure without life on other planets.  On that:

Life originating on Earth is a ridiculous theory.  Having borderline predetermined sets of anatomy goes way beyond coincidence.  Even these sacred sponges of yours from the terraces of the Atlantic Ocean have buckets full of similarities to a cow in Massachusetts. The two are separated by a lot more than a fleshy cell wall, but they both follow a complex, yet almost identical organic behavior that must predate the settling and orbiting of Earth. That's a lesson that Georges Cuvier himself coined 200 years before an electron microscope was even conceived, and it still hasn't been put down by any hard facts.  While you're slaving away at the library dome, check out "Your Inner Fish" by Neil Something-or-other.  Some of that book was tosh, but it was quite an interesting perspective on evolutionary patterns.

Ah.  I also found another article on this topic that has a bit more on the flickering light of destiny and magic:

I like how there's a category of "serious" scientists.  I never did care for not-so-serious scientists.

It's not a coincidence, no. Life on earth (not life in the whole universe, obviously), whether or not it began purely on earth or was sparked by base 'life ingredients' that hitched a ride on an asteroid (both ideas, at this time, are possible) has all spread, as far as I know, from the same source or reaction.

DNA is something that evolved after the very first 'organisms' appeared. I'm not sure if I should call them organisms, basically I mean strings of nucleotide-like organic molecules, which can apparently start to exist under certain conditions provided the life ingredients mentioned above are present. RNA and later DNA are just (very) long strains of these nucleotides, and once these had formed, other, more advanced organisms evolved, on and on, building from the same basis, which is why this same basis can be found throughout Earth's organisms. So 'sets of anatomy', DNA, genes, etc. simply did not come from space. The building blocks of these things, however, quite possibly did.

No. Keep your weird conspiracy stuff out of this. It derails and ruins the discussion. Last time I'm asking. Next post will get removed.

Conspiracy or poorly marketed fantasy author world building wiki?

Either way. I don't think I've got anything new to add. Since it took a bit under 800 days for the first anomaly to show up, I guess we're going to have to keep watch of this star for a few decades to see if there is a pattern to the madness.

Possible explanations of the observed data:

4.1 Instrumental effects or data reduction artifacts?

4.2 Intrinsic variability?

4.3 Extrinsic variability?

4.4 Occultation by circumstellar dust clumps

4.4.1 Scenario-independent constraints

4.4.2 Aftermath of catastrophic collisions in asteroid belt

4.4.3 Aftermath of giant impact in planetary system

4.4.4 Dust-enshrouded planetesimals

4.4.5 A comet family?

So where is the alien civ stuff mentioned by the scientists?
