You know, after 2 long, hard weeks of fearing, the show needed a good week off after airing a whopping two episodes.  The amount of driving and parking overwhelmed the world with awe.  So we didn't have an episode last week for Kirkman's imaginary holiday.

Episode 3.  It's called The Dog.  Was it referring to how ugly these people are?  Or perhaps it's an inane canine related metaphor far too complex for the 21st century?  In fact, it's so complex, not even the actors could portray this revolutionary new type of writing.  Before you ask "what witting," allow me to rename this episode into "Dan's Labyrinth."

Don't you hate it when people don't touch stuff?  The plot of this episode is: let's have our characters touch everything, and make plot points out of that.  Such as our confusingly feminine hero, Chris.  He touches a wall and discovers that it is warm, causing our characters to go into a mass panic.  They decide that they prefer the company of rebelling kids in the streets over the bitter existence of warmth in architecture.  You could ask why he was touching walls in the first place... true...

Meanwhile, at stately Salazar Manor, Madison and the kids play Monopoly.  ... .....

Anyway, MORE DRIVING SCENES?!  Yes, please, thank you, and goodnight.  Travis brings home his new Mexican pals, including Dan.  Dan the Mexican.  He loves judging people behind their backs, and can't get enough of teaching children he just met about shotguns.

Where are you going to even get a shotgun in suburban LA?  Why, your neighbor's home of course.  We won't question why their neighbor has a wicker labyrinth constructed in their back lawn, or why we have to see out characters run through it several times, or why the Minotaur is an elderly Chinese woman with hot-sauce on her lips.  We just accept it.  Right?

That about sum it up.  Oh!  Right.  There was a dog, but it was so insignificant, it wasn't even worth mentioning.  Even though they probably named the entire episode over its 20 seconds in the show.  Writing.  I think.

Dead dead, not dead.  Inspiring words.  And he's also holding his hands like like a cat trying to stand up.  Adorable.
