I'll go make a Soviet one too :p

Cracker

This unit is only available to China

Purpose : Long Range Artillery
Prerequisite : Soviet War Factory, Atomheart
Cost : 1500
HP : 500
Armor : Medium
Speed : 2
Weapon : Portable Quake Generator
Attack Range : 18

While the Chinese war machines stand tall and imposing against their foes with all the armor and firepower, a key component is still missing : a long range artillery. While the Chinese managed to cover this through the Centurion Siege Crawler and the Wallbuster warhead, their use limitations make it hard for the Great Moving Wall to continuously pound through the enemy base.

Thus an idea was proposed, a derivation of the quake generator device akin to the Hammer portable enough to be carried and set up with ease. With that, comes out the Cracker, a heavy truck capable of lifting the device as well as balancing it on the ground as it does its' job.

The portable Hammer is explicitly set up to crack through building foundations, causing it to crumble under its' weight. Anything that hasn't crumbled yet will be vulnerable, thus allowing other tanks, infantries or the Wallbuster to finish the job with ease. The device is also capable to significantly damage vehicles and slow them down, although not as effective as the Hammer itself.

The Chinese neglected to put much armor into it, as the vehicle was already designed to be dense enough to lift the device. Ironically, the speed aspect was also neglected, causing it to run even slower than the Nuwa Cannon. The demand of autopilot for the atrocious crawling speed was denied to compensate the military budget. As the result, some Chinese commanders would usually resort to load up the vehicle inside transports such as Zubr, which is just capable if lifting one of these without much loss of speed. To make matters worse, the device has to be deployed firmly before use, and like the Hammer, it is incapable of fighting at close range. It also barely hurts infantries

When ordered to attack structures

That was depressing, going to criticizing and slamming the rule before appreciating it.

Well this is a role playing page, not a suggestion page. And I meant no negative criticism towards your two characters. They could use a little more polishing, but otherwise they are good posts nonetheless.

The cracker is a good idea, but it have too much disadvantages for what it can do IMO.

Slower than a Nuwa and need deploying to fire? Really?

And yet it's still crap vs infantry.

No one did Soviets?

Really?

Kirov Jr.

Helicopter

Lore:

Once, when the Soviet Union was still at its prime, a conscript found the blueprints of Epsilon Invader and upon deconstructing it and rebuilding it into a miniature helicopter! However, when the Soviet Army found out they decided to blatantly steal his plan and name it Kirov Jr. - This helicopter was enlarged and space was allowed to hold at least 8 infantry or equivalent tank spaces and given large tesla bombs similar to those of the Kirov but of a much less calibre, much less potent but with less power they substituted speed instead and these helis were much faster than the Kirovs, that they were rivaling the speed of a Wolfhound - they combined these two aspects perfectly so that they were assigned as a "heavy attack helicopter" and it was perfect for Russians to carry their many heavy tanks and infantry along through Russia's vast and mountainous landscape.

Weapons:

Bombs -> Tesla when Elite

Small Machine Gun (and I mean small looking at you Wolfhound)

Deploy to drop troops inside 'copter.

Campaign-Only or Soviet Specific Helicopter to go along with Wolfhound

I didn't do the other stuff i.e. actually game stuff past the weapons lol

Not that bad, could use a better name but that's just my 2 cents on the name. As for the description, it is kinda random at first, but it does play out in how the soviets would try to restructure captured tech to serve a higher role in their glorious charge to victory.

I kinda agree a little with X1 on it's downsides, but it is capable of cracking bases in it's own right, and I imagine it being used as a defensive weapon against vehicles. The range on it is decent enough to fend of attacks in coordination with other units.

It's actually cheaper and more durable than the Russian Scud Launcher, though :p

I agree it will need some polishing, but for now it sounds good enough as an instant-hit artillery that is also a Syncronin. Coupled with Wallbuster it's very devastating

I never liked roleplaying, in fact I never tried it but here goes.

Faction: Foehn

Name: Glaive flagship

Cost: $4000

HP: 3000

Armor: Heavy

Weapons: Plasma cannons (9x), Golden rocket AA system

Speed: 2

Range: 18

Limited to Last bastion

Limited to one

While most Foehn commanders never cared much about their Navy, after countless losses against Epsilon forces a few Foehn scientists decided to add an addition to their Navy, they called it the "Glaive" flagship. Being armed with 9 plasma cannons (4 on each side and 1 on the front) and a thick plate of armor like that of the Leviathan with nanites for repair the flagship is surely a sight to see, though the crippling speed of the flagship allows it to be easy prey to swarms of enemy ships or aircraft if it has no escorts. When the Flagship is seen, the rest of the Foehn navy is sure to follow.

Quotes:

When created:

  • Behold! The Foehn flagship.
  • Flagship on deck.

When selected:

  • Your orders HQ?
  • It's now our turn.
  • Standing by.
  • The Guardian of our seas.
  • You made the right choice.
  • Channel's all yours.

When ordered to move:

  • Helmsman, take us there.
  • Steady..
  • We'll take our time.
  • Aye aye commander.
  • Alright, this is it.
  • Expanding our territory.
  • Let's be smart about this..

When ordered to attack ground targets:

  • Battle stations!
  • Whole crew open fire!
  • Prepare for assault!
  • Fire all weapons!
  • Melt them down!

When ordered to attack air targets

  • (Pilot) What goes up! (crew) Must go down!
  • Let loose the golden rockets!
  • We shall not fall!
  • Aircraft spotted!
  • This is a no fly zone!

When at medium low health

  • Initialize nano systems!
  • Release the nanites!
  • Repairing.
  • Nano charge requested.

When at low health

  • I shall not tolerate this!
  • How dare they attack us!
  • Requesting reinforcements!
  • We're taking heavy fire!

I hope I didn't make it too overpowered, I tried to balance it.

Nice concept, though I don't think that any Foehn commander would have just neglected the navy outright IMO (I'm assuming that by neglect you mean the 3 different types of Foehn naval craft available or it's just they prefer land battles over naval ones, just trying to clarify is all so please correct me if I'm wrong). As for the OP part, I can't actually tell somewhat. By plasma cannons do you mean the ones that fire like Uragan does or something else. Also, does it fire all of it's weapons at one or does the cannons only fire from their respective sides? (IE: frontal turret can target in a 180* cone, left broadside cannons only fire from the left and the right broadside cannons only fire from the right) [Just looking for some clarification is all for above]. Other than that, the quotes are well played for this unit (I can imagine about 4-5 in the background yelling "must go down").

Left cannons can only fire left and right cannons can only fire right, but the front one can fire anywhere just like the battleship one.

And yes, by neglect I meant that there are only 3 types of battle ships.

And by cannons I meant like Tarchia cannon cannons, the ones that take hours to lock on.

Lol. Would you settle if the cannons can keep a lock on even if the target moves and has a slightly shorter lock on time?

After seeing these awesome posts and the obvious plateau on posts (I can't blame anyone here), I decided to rescind on the rule of one character. Now everyone here that has made a post is now able to make a new character. Catch is, it must be assigned to a different faction. So if you made a character for, lets say, the Allies, you can only make your 2nd character in either Soviets, Epsilon, or Foehn. The character can still be the same unit type as your previous one (if ya made an infantry unit, your 2nd one can be an infantry unit as well, only in another faction though). Will update main page with information given. As for people who are starting out on this topic after this post, you are also able to post up to 2 units, but please keep them in separate posts (one at a time). Just follow the rule above. Can't wait to see your upcoming posts guys.

Dampener ($1300)

Faction - HeadQuarters

Hp - 210

Armour class - Flak

Speed - 5

Range - 18 (When deployed)

Weapons - Psychic suppressor

When the HQ saw the success of Scorpion Cell's Malver, especially with his ability to dampen the strength and power of enemies, HQ immediately worked on genetically modified soldier, that can do this. The result - The Dampener. this infantry does not have a Chimera core within him, but can still affect enemies for the same radius that Malver does, for 30% of each attribute the enemy possesses. Enemy Commanders mark every Dampener as a key target, as he can win Battles and even wars.

The effects stack only with Malver, to 55%.

So essentially a support unit that can have more than one in the battlefield. Good enough, I can see this unit already going in with a large strike force against a Foehn taskforce. Also, dat range tho.

Oh, I like this. Count me in!

Tremas Yana, Raptor Pilot
Callsign: "The Professor"

Cost: $2500                                              Prerequisite: Allied AFCHQ, Tech Center
Speed: 28 (Jet?)                                       Purpose: Precision Strike
Hitpoints: 350                                           Weapon: CAL-10 "Eclipse" Dual Laser Cannon (vs ground) / OD-55 "Odin" Laser Turret (vs air) / SA-17 "Ares" Phase Shield
Armor Class: Medium Air                          Range: 10+5 (strafe)/8/Self

It's not quite clear how The Professor and his... unusual aircraft wound up engaged in the Omega Crisis, though the prevailing theory involves a Chronosphere, an Experimental Warpshop, and copious amounts of alcohol. Regardless, the jet he pilots is undoubtedly an asset to the Allied forces, even if its technology is not quite like anything the Allies have ever encountered before.

While it costs quite a bit to hire The Professor, his precision strikes do leave the possibility of, ahem, "asset recovery" while he's in the field.

--Build limit: 1
--CAL-10 "Eclipse" deals damage to ground targets in a 5-unit line from initial impact
--OD-55 "Odin" automatically tracks and fires at airborne enemies, though it does have trouble with certain targets (e.g. Shrike Drones and Rocketeers due to their small size, Dybbuk-Interceptors due to their speed).
--SA-17 "Ares" Phase Shield activates at 33% health, offering limited protection against enemy attacks for a short period of time. (Reduces incoming damage by ~50% for five seconds, or until The Professor lands/is shot down)
--Any buildings or ground units destroyed by The Professor grant a small cash bounty (10% of the destroyed target's value; 20% for special units or structures. Does not stack with Foehn Reprocessor bounties.)
--Cost is not reduced by Industrial Plants.
--Automatically repairs while not in combat. (Stacks with the effects of Tech Machine Shops.)

  •  Trying to Malver micro

The one thing i don't like about malver is his bad range when deployed.

No chimera core, so i thought this might make it a bit more fair, although 18 is a lot lol.
