Hello,

First of all, many thanks to all the guys that make CnC comes back to life,

Well, I used to play zero hour with no problems, but I have a problem with cnc3 and kw,

I am using the normal copy of cnc3 (can run the game/play skirmish/ everything is great), I installed cnc online launcher, launched cnc3, my IP in Options is my local IP 192.168.... When I go to online..wait for 1 min then I got :

" Cannot Connect - Unable to establish a connection with cnc3. Please check your internet connection "  !!!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I have tried tons of things :

 - WinXP SP3 and Run as Admin in cnc online launcher

 - Hook the game from the launcher

 - Re-install the game

 - Turn off my anti-virus

 - Turn-off my windows firewall

With the same error for cnc3 and KW .....no luck at all,

Here is my cnc-online log,

I would appreciate if anyone can help,

----- C&C:Online Launcher Start -----

C&C3 Install Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\

having the exact same problem.

edit:  solved by hooking, unhooking, fixing via Origin and hooking again.

Sorry, I thought I had answered this yesterday. I think this is a networking problem rather than a patching issue. Can I suggest that you try using a VPN to see if that gets round the problem. We have been recommending Windscribe as a free VPN and generally speaking people have had a lot of success with that. You get 10GB per month for free if you provide an email address and that should be enough for your playing needs.

Thank you for the reply,

I will give it a try when I reach home and get back to you,

By the way, do you have any doubt that there is any specific port blocked or something from my side,

if so please inform me about basic or needed ports for cnc3 and I can test them at first then open them through my modem if any is blocked,

Thank You,

Let's get you onto the server first.    All of the connections required to log in are made by your game (i.e. they are outgoing connections) so if you have the game properly installed (which should make an exception in Windows Firewall) you should not need to open any ports just to be able to log in.    That may be different once you are logged in if you cannot then connect to other players to start a game.
