Yes I know I should say pick the two you most want to work on and then stay with them, but I'll let you do as you wish and if you leave then I'll be the only one working on the mod for good, cause Damo doesn't have much dedication to the mod anymore, and aside from the ocasional model I make there wont be much change and the mod will fall apart which it might already be doing, if we don't pull ourselves together, so Opals I may have to get a little strict, until you finish the other cameos for the mod.

Adds completely new units, super weapons, upgrades, structures, and such. Compete against the enemy with new long range weapons, nuclear tomahawk upgrades, tomahawk storms, and more. Adds a new side to the battles, the Militia a fast, and poorly armed faction. Plus it adds blood when infantry are hit and blood pools when infantry die. Also adds new music, weapon sounds and voices.

I am going to try to say this without being an ass ... honestly. This mod looks pretty "copy and paste", as in taking pre-existing struturces and/or units and mixing them up. A few things look original but not most. Looking at it though made me think of something. What if you made a side or two sides like the militia and maybe another like "black ops" or something. Making it basically groups for hire. It would work like selecting a genral but instead you select a subside. And make their units really cheap or really strong or something, just as long as its beneficial. And as long as it is just a subside they dont need too many units. Maybe 6 or 7. Real special units. Maybe instead of buying them they automatically recruit every so often like the tank drop or your infantry recruitment building. I actually have made quite a few models of high tech US military vehicles that could be used for a second sub-side. So you could have the cheap side with GLA style units and the other subside with USA style units. But giving them too many units would make it useless, it would be like playing as two sides which isn't hard to do as long as you capture other structures. But making unique new units for a sub-side would be cool. Having said all that a "copy and paste" mod isn't all bad though as long as it plays well and is still interesting it will be good. Just some words of advice I guess.

erm... is this the same project raptor that was host by cnc guild (or was it savage war), not too long ago?

Yes this is the same mod. We moved mainly because our ftp was acting up, and I already have a militia side and I didn't say that none of them were copy and paste. Also a lot of the stuff is beta generals and ZH so shhhhhhhhh.

I think the mod is turning out very nicely and very original. Esspecially since he is the only one pretty much doing the work.

Yeah I just need a dedicated skinner, modeler, and cameo maker, Opals Slacks off a lot, hmm a new science idea Opals slack off, makes everyone build slower and stuff. LOL jk.

This is very interesting, I was just making a mod like this before I joined the ReGeneration team. So what if the models aren't his? I think it's pretty cool.

I love the Militia side, just like GLA, only more poorer lol. Also the using of the civilian buildings in the militia faction is pretty cool. That's the way to go if you don't have good modelrs or skinners.

I love the mod ecept for the fact that the GLA AI dosnt have any defences or superwepons as they dont use the power because they havent been ugraded.

And by the way Millitia means civillian fighters so it works with theyre buildings.
Oh and do 1.0 global and 1.4 work together?

No they don't work together. As for the GLA I know what the problem is, I wanted them to build the power plant before they could build the Supply Stash, but they wont build anything but a barracks so I am changing it back.

Uhm..have you changed the build list ? If you want to change their build sequence you will have to do that.

is the weather effects are gonna be an obvious one? i mean are there gonna be like circles the chinese nationalism thingy? or maybe is it, when you say range is decreased, do you mean decreased slightly or decreased heavily and obviously(hopefully this one is to actually see the difference)?

it sounds like you guys have alot of work cut out for you...and people are slacking off :) perhaps you could hold a contest for normal people like me to make cool looking units, or whatever it is you need
