I thought it was time to show what i'm made of. It did feel a bit silly being the adviser of a modding community, when i've not release a mod myself.

Good to see that you're finally going to make your own mod. It looks good so far but the loading screen still need some effects. I like that laser effect on the paladin btw. Good luck with your mod.

Paladin Super Charged Lazer

Ever thought your Paladin should do more of whats right?
The Paladin now has a super charged lazer weapon for doing whats right. The lazer is slow to charge, but can do a great deal of damage.

You're not the only one without a mod. I've not actually worked on any project that has a complete release, at least not yet. I do help a lot of projects though.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Release Date Set = Within 99 days.
Every day i've been calling my mod a new version. V 0.01 was first day of work, 0.02 was second, and so on... Meaning i only have till 99 before i reach the first release :)

Attached is a small screenshot to show the new scale and camera settings. It's not as extream as TD or RA2, where a whole base could fit in the corner of the screen. It's more like the scale TS was.

Looking good so far. I like the new camera. I'll probably tweak things just for normal playing.

I thought i'd start making a mod. I call it 'Crafty Tricks of War'.
I plan to re-make as much as possable to make it look like new teams, but without spending the time to make them :)
These new units will be crafty & sneeky units :blinky:

DDS settings?
If you mean what options to use when you save them, you just use the default.

I plan to re-skin and re-name as much as possable to make it look like new teams, but without spending the time to make them  :)
I'm going to remove the GLA, the recycle it's units by giving them to hte other 2 teams. These new units will be crafty & sneeky units  :blinky:


Now, i just need to find out how to remove the GLA... <_<

comment out of PlayerTemplate.ini ;)

lol, good one...

erm... I'm pretty sure I have it printed off here somewhere....

alpha must bee turned off... there is an image in the basic skinning tutorial at gendev that shows you all the correct settings :uh:

You want to make a new mapped image file, and name it what that logo is. You can then work with that. Otherwise, you'll need to modify the control bar scheme.

I expect an interview too :)

There will be some internal (Network Staff) betas, but no public. This aint a TC which needs loads of betas. It will be more like BlackMissle, with just one final release.
