I decided to start this thread to help the Creator in the balancing job.
We should post here about wether a unit is too weak, to strong, needs mor speed, etc...

I think one way to balance one faction of the game could be removing the subliminal messaging upgrade from the tank general. You can actually see the tanks regenerating too fast. It's desperating to fight them seeind that you dont deal almost no damage to them.

I think the new aircraft generals is too weak, i heared that you want add him one tank, i think you will regulate that :blush:

And also i think the nuke with his tank trooper is too strong, because they are so cheap

its not been endorsed by creator, but theres been sugestions to give AirF a 5 carpetbomber callin superweapon instead of a partical cannon.

Also creator has mentioned adding aditional planes, such as the B-52 as a tomahawk artilary unit (actauly pretty darn acurate)

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Air force general. Two new units will be added: MCV medium tank and B52 armed with tomahawks. I don't plan to make a superweapon with 5 bombers.

Tank general is ok. Regenerating speed had been set properly. Simply try to destroy tanks with one strike. It is not hard. By the way, tank general will become underpowered without this upgrade.

Nuke with his tank hunters is not strong. You can kill them easily with fast Humvee or GLA Technic (crush them). Also they explode and damage friendly units around so it is complex to usethem in groups. Nuke tank hunters is not a problem if you know how to counter them.

i think the nuke general's retatlators(gattling cannon replacements) are to cheap($) for their amazing power, considering your quote in game, nuke gen has high offense and low defense

they are pretty amazing, but powerless against artilary.

why don't you ask creator to raise the price of them or the power of them

I don't think being amazing is realy a problem... they are good, but are not ideal for mass destruction. they eat a fe units alive, but get swarmed easily by a coordinated attack.

in the beginning of a game my 6 scorpins for chemical general got pwned by 2 of them

and i looked at all of my surrondings, and you don't really start with many vehicles

worth note when playing .03 I don't attack the enemy base until after I hit lvl3.. sometimes lvl5 (I also only play against 4 or more hards all teamed agasint me)

I deffend until i lvl then I lash back and kill them with teched up units... I found just about all bases near un-breakable with lvl1 units.

In my version there are no lvl restrictions, so I attac kwith what ever I want...

i play the game with my self teamed up with a hard army against 4 hard enemy who are teamed together. i wanna play against a fully levelled up comp. till now i have only managed a comp levelled up till 3 but as an Allie the comp once did level up to 5.

Yes, I forgot to say about it. I weakened all defence structures 20%. Retaliator weakened 1.5 times. So everything will be ok.

Also I fixed infantry general AI. It use artillery from the begining, so it is very hard to withstand him now. Even if you have 10-20 retaliators you will be owned in 5 minutes. Other generals will be clever as well.

lets just see. ;)

only one gen has ever been able to own me. :)

the one that did kick my ass was err stealth gen. his rocket Scorpios just destroyed my defence and then got through and throughly kicked my rear. that was the most embarrassing defeat ever and the only time i lost to the comp.

BTW i was playing as assault. :sleep:

in the beginning of a game muaraders with machine guns are the only things that keep me alive
