But enough off topic stuff.

1. Tech Master ConYard -- (this is sorta a joke, for a replacement for the dozer bay, if it's removed)
Capture to build any and all units in the game, except for planes, although helicopters can be built.

this next one isn't a joke though

2. Tech Carpet Bomber Bay --
Capture to get a carpet bombing by a B3 Spirit every 2 minutes.
(looks like a flight control tower)

3. Tech Artillery Barrage System --
Capture to get a 12 shell artillery strike every 3 minutes.

The Tech ConYard should build Tech Dozers, which build Tech Buildings. Here's the list:

Tech Power Plant: The one in the game

Tech Barracks: Trains hypbrid infantry.
-Tech Ranger: Long-range assault rifle, stealth while not moving, flashbangs, mines, Booby Trap
-Tech AT Soldier: AG/AA rocket, laser guided available, TNT available
-Tech Hacker: All Super Hacker abilities, brings in money faster, can steal blueprints of buildings to enable construction of a dozer that can build it
-Tech Sniper: Chinese Sniper
-Tech Hero(needs new name): Highly accurate .308 assault rifle, can unload, kill vehicle pilots, plant demo charges, steal buiildings, remote-control vehicles, steal cash
-Tech Siege Soldier: Fires mortars with EMP/Napalm, radiation and toxin/flashbangs/concussion options

Tech War Factory:
-Tech MBT(needs name): Double turret with a standard barrell right under a laser barrell, radiation shells, scram shells, toxin shells, Scorpion rocket/TOW missile, all drones
-Tech King Tank(needs name): Quad turret, two Laser and two Shells, all shell upgrades, rocket packs, can be upgraded with defense structures Overlord-style(but with more options)

You get the idea. Good news? Your units have every advantage in the game(except numbers due to cost). Bad news: There is a build limit of 1-2 per main structure(not defenses), you can only have 3 tech dozers, and the shroud is revealed around the dozers and tech production centers.

seems a bit overpowered. besides, it was sorta a joke, although you really thought it through.
seems like a boss general type thing.

as for tech hero and tech king tank... here's my ideas for their names.

Tech hero -- John Masters -- everything you said, except is amphibious

Tech MBT -- Manta Main Battle Tank -- fires everything you have there but the toxin shells, napalm shells, drones, and the rockets. that overpowers it. just an amphibious tank w/ all the stuff you said (except those) and special drones. the Manta Drone flies and fires 4 HSHE rockets (Homing Super High Explosive).
the tank will also have dual rocket launchers at start for AA. they'll be called manta launchers (Fire HSAP Rockets (Homing Super Armor Piercing).

King Tank -- well, that'll be the King Manta Ray -- Fires all you say except the drone part and shell part. the shell will be Napalm Scram Shells, super explosive flame starters, can make FStorm w/ 3 tanks. Has the Shark Drone, high speed, dual rocket launchers, stealth detection, and a gattling cannon, all mounted on one little drone. as for options, every overlord thing and the land raider things (except propaganda tower, that'll be automatically there, like emperor. Is Amphib.

Tech Sniper -- Super Sniper -- can snipe any land vehicle, stealthed while not moving, shooting, or sniping vehicles, able to hit helicopter, detector. Amphib.

Tech ranger -- Manta Marine -- has a fully auto machine gun, C4s, and flash-bangs. is amphibious.

Tech AT Soldier -- Manta Rocket Trooper -- fires HSAP and HSHE, can choose between the 2 in the command bar, like ranger's flash-bangs and gun. Amphib.

Tech Seige Soldier -- Manta Cannon Trooper -- Fires UHE (Ultra High Explosive) shells onto targets, can be upgraded with bunker busters, and be able to switch from UHE and BBS (Bunker Buster Shells). Amphib.

Tech Radar Station -- builds combat radar vans (Amphib.) -- are always stealthed, have 4 Manta Rocket Troopers, and 6 Manta Marines.

Dunno why I'm naming everything manta, just sounds cool to me. :p

FYI, the MANTA is an experimental variant of the FB-22 design that maneuvers exclusively by thrust vectoring. Makes it incredibly stealthy because there are no flaps or fins to break the form. It will also have a really high ceiling.

You can really go crazy with tech buildings because it can be a real goal to capture and fight over, and if you don't like them you dont have to put them on the map. If you think being able to build tech buildings is overpowered but want everything then just put everything but the conyard on.

If they have combo drones that would be more powerful than having the regular drones.

well, I named 'em Manta ... because of my idea for them to be Amphib. I would also like to see a MANTA Experimental FB-22

air units

Flying Stingray -- stealthed, 4 missile launching jet, able to drop demo traps onto the ground below, for traps, missiles are a raptor's w/ napalm.

Ship Hunter -- has no missiles but can drop sea mines (non-stealthed demo traps) to keep ships out of the water. sea mines can't be destroyed.

King Shark -- Drops 10 small carpet bombs over a target area.

Moby Dick -- HUGE, fast, white carpet bomber flies in and drops a small nuke (force of a nuclear convoy truck, slightly smaller area). Costs a rediculous amt. of $. takes 2 slots.

Aerial Aircraft Carrier -- costs $10000. Flies around. very heavily armored. carries 5 planes of any type except Moby Dick. can only have 1. Produces Gunner, Missile, and cannon ships (drone-type units)

Cannon Ship -- flies around with the speed of a Spectre Gunship, protecting the Aerial Aircraft Carrier. costs $1000. acts like a drone. doesn't fill up any slots. can only have 2. fires artillery shells.

Gunner Ship -- same as the cannon ship but has gattling cannons instead. can only have two.

Missile Ship -- Fires AA Missiles. can only have 2. Otherwise the same as the other ones (gunner, cannon).

Kamikazi destroyer -- fires small suicide crop dusters onto targets. costs $2000.

Yawn... :p I'm done now. :) help me get costs for the rest plz. :lol:

EDIT: you can have 2 of each type of ship for protecting the Aerial Aircraft Carrier, making 6 a possibility

I like the flyig carrier. The USAF is experimenting with that, the Brilliant Buzzard, which could actually be the same plane as the rumored Aurora supersonic plane. It's a HUGE delta-winged plane with square engine pods, presumably the aircraft hangars. The problem is getting a runway big enough for it.

Has anyone seen Sky Captain? There's also the flying carrier in that one.

Here's my idea for the full unit list. We could have them simply called Tech ____ like Tech MBT or Tech Missile Defender etc.

Barracks:
-Basic: Guy with an assault rifle, stealth while not moving or shooting, power of Marines, has HE, Flash, Smoke, and WP grenades, also has booby traps
-Missile: Abilities of all rocket troopers
-Sniper: Can lay down to remain stealth even while shooting and increase range, can shoot vehicle pilots
-Siege: Good plan, Bunker Busters, also Napalm, EMP, HE shells
-Laser Trooper: Reasonably powerful vs everything
-Hero: John Masters is good, has all abilities either of us mentioned

Factory:
-MBT: Laser/Shell combo, can be upgraded with rockets and a machine gun on the tank itself, has all drones available
-Heavy MBT: Really big, double-barrell(laser and standard), can be upgraded with any defense structure in the game except Stinger Sites, Tunnel Networks, and firebase variants, can collect salvage to get a PDL, bigger barrells, and after that every crate raises armor
-Transport: Can be upgraded with light defense structures, carries 5, amphibious
-AA: Has Avenger lasers, dual Gattling guns, and a laser targeter
-Anti-Infantry: A big truck with a toxin sprayer, radiation sprayer, flamethrower, and machine gun

Airfield
-Basic fighter: 6 Napalm rockets, stealth, can be upgraded to 2 tactical nukes
-Advanced fighter: 8 multi-role rockets and 2 nukes
-Transport: Machine gun and dual rockets, carries 8
-Stealth Chopper: Commanche with a bigger gun and more rockets
-Assault Chopper: Big chopper with heavy rocket pods, can be upgraded with any small defense structure but starts with propoganda tower
-Bomber: Aurora with either a nuke or cluster bombs

Like I said, the idea here is that you put the Tech ConYard at the center of tne map and race to it. That's why you can only have one of each structure so you can't just build your base exclusiely on them and overrun the map with Tech Factories.

Also, here's a thought for a new variant on teh Tech Airfield built here:

You can only have one or two airfields, but you can have as many landing strips as you want. Basically you build a tech airfield, build three landing strips around it(which are smaller and cheaper) but only the Tech Airfield can actually build the planes, which you then fly to the landing strips to make more room.

Still funny...

Manta Submarine -- fires dual torpedoes and 3 small cruise missiles in rapid succession, cruise missiles for ground only, torpedo for ships only. quite large. strong vs battleships. weak vs subhunters

King of the seas -- has 3 sets of giant cannons (3 each) and many AA guns all around it. powerful vs everything except for subs. weak vs subs

Subhunter -- can destroy and detects subs. has powerful depth cannons and depth charges (depth cannons fire depth charges at targets).

Wavemaster -- creates powerful shockwaves outward from its bow, able to knock over smaller ships. slightly smaller then the manta sub. strong vs smaller ships. weak vs everything else.

Surfer Suicide Ship -- very fast ship, set on fire. sails into ships and damages them by burning them. weakens enemy weapons, by melting the weapons slightly. not very powerful. strong vs all ships. weak vs subs (subs don't really count as a ship in this case.)

Flyswatter -- fires missiles and powerful AA cannons. strong vs aircraft. weak vs everything else.

great ship ideas eh? :rolleyes:

ok, time to seriously get back on topic

Tech GPS Station -- RA2 SpySat from the allies for skin, with a small garage.
Can create listening outposts. reavels map. detects stealth. possibly grants spy sat, reveals area and detecs stealth. provides radar, if radar not already owned.

Tech Spy Center -- looks like some sorta spy building w/ garage.
can create listening outposts, CIA agaents, and sabotuers. detects stealth.

Tech Cannon System -- has 4 cannons and two .50 cals.
able to fire 4 cannon shots in rapid succession. has an Anti Inf. system.

Tech Bunker -- cool looking bunker
heavily armored bunker, cannot be destroyed. auto repairs. if reaches 1% health, all men inside die, and bunker becomes neutral again.

Tech Tank bunker -- 2 american tank bunkers put together for skin
can hold 2 tanks. otherwise the same as the tech bunker.

Tech command center -- buildings from strategy center for skin, no cannon area, no walls...
can deploy all 3 battle plans.

final one's a joke
Tech stupidity center -- looks like a deformed house
Makes your units become dorks, and run around asking the enemy "Who's cuter, Pikachu, or me?". also makes them almost kill each other with atomic farts (gamma radiation explosion goes off).

I was thinking maybe a Tech Site that could be captured and it would produce every so minutes one of those cool nuclear convoy trucks. Also since I don't know where else to put this: It'd be cool if you had a sniper in a building that building would remain colorless but unoccupieable untill a stealth detection unit was near by because, you wouldn't know in a real war if a sniper was in a building.

Ummm,Jsmoth13. you do realize when pathfinders and JK are in civil buildings they can only be seen when a detector unit or sat scan or radar van scan hits the area. so... that's already in the game. as for the chinese and gla snipers (non-heroes), I'm not sure if they're like pathfinders and JK while in civil buildings.

Must be my game then because it angers me when stupid tanks with no abilities attack my sniper buildings. Oh well. Now i know that. Oh and, Ace22, thanks.

So what do you all think about the nuclear convoy truck idea, that'd be somthing worth fighting over.
