I just turned of the TV, walked up the stair to my room to check Revora and go to bed. The I suddenly had an idea. Something that would fit with revora as a creative community. It will be a big project that will grow with time.
THe idea is simple. We create a blanco planet. It's empty, nothing on it. Then everyone can fill it in.

Example:
Hybrid creates a mountainkingdom ruled by a council of mages. Grass is holy in the kingdom and symbolises growth and life. SO in the capital you got this huge grasspark. Then Ali attaches plains to the mountainkingdom. There life dwarfs underground. They are afraid of light and never get to the surface. Because of it's covered with grass, Hybrid's kingdom demands that it is a holyland. No man of his kingdom can enter is excepot the highmages. Blaat doesn't like it here and creates her own Archipal far away.

This is just an idea. People can create multiple nation, attached to eachotehr or not. But you can't force other people to be your neigthbour. I should be fun and not a race. You can't win.
Maybe when the world is pretty full someone can make a centrall map, made out of everyones personal maps. At the same time we can bring the world to life bymaking things about it. You can write mythologies of their ancestors, you can write a diary of a person who lives in your country, compose folkmusic, make drawings, write poems, create a tradesystem with valute. Just give it details.
One thing we first need to sort out, is it fantasy or SF? I would go for fantasy since that leave a lot open. Even in fantasy you can use robots but in SF you can't use magic :huh: So about magic I though up the following:
Magic is controlled energy, with the energy you can alter things etc.We can use magic with our imagination, because you need to imaging what to do with the energy. You can summon a dragon, becuse they don't exist, you must create one yourself, with your imagination.
laser is energy, so you can use uncontrolled energy as a weapon, make a beam of it, do whatever you like. since laser is light we can say energy is light. Thsi explains the lighteffects of magic. The sparks, or the red ball when someones casts a firespell, it's red because the caster thinks it should be. Thisway you can use energy to make weapons of it or use it as magic, you choose, fair enough?
I think with this muge creative souls this can works.

so well, some comment pls :laugh:

One thing more. Don't spam. Create worlds, not just an evil dictotaorship. Create laws, customs, a geography. Make it a peace of art. thank you that's all

How would it actually work? A thread, a script, how?

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

nations are topics, same for city's, except if they lay within an existing country, maybe If they do become part of one, move them all the a subforum, like a mod, with different topics in it, one for each area/city. See every town as a mod, iff they unite in one nation, put them in one mod. Hmm not very clear but most of you will understand it I guess.
Most will be with words and sentences :laugh: But you can make maps an add then. You can also add blueprints of buildings etc.

First idea how it will look like:
Revora > Revora World > The the "subfora"
sunfora for everynation or geographic region and some towns/city's that don't got a spot yet. Later they can be moved or become a free citystate. Within these subfora you got normal topics. Topics for every town, one for the river and it's flora and fauna. One for the laws, one for the dinasties, one for a diary perhaps. Just normal stuff.

Thsi way you can easily find a nation, or settle a new town.

Sounds interesting, I'd sure be willing to try it. I'd limit each person to one nation and one topic though.

Well I got the idea's for multiple nations, at least 3. I mean worked out. Yes there should be a limit. But not limited. You should get a new nation or something when your otherone is mostly finished. When it got city's/laws/a culture with rituals etc. I think there more peopel here that would like to create for then one working nation.

==================[Preview on my Kingdom]================
The Lands of Dragonia are full of harsh, coled, and hard dirt. The climate is always very stormy, and there alot of vulcanos, the citizens of the lands are the Dragonflies (no, not that little annoying flies, but Dragon-Fly's), they are like dragons, only smaller and they can fly, and they are mostly... Blue?! yep blue. that sounds good!

The captical of Dragonia is Dragonpolis. A city in the middle of a big crater surrounding it with fire and lava, and magma, its a big inprectible stronghold.
=================================================

Good, Mormacil i love the idea, i really do... But lets add some more stuff to it.

First of all.... On the Forums main page there should be a forum called: Revora Worlds

On that forum u can tell about ure nation or sumt what ever.

On the sub forums u should have: City, Nations, Shops etc.....

Everyone can make a shop selling stuff (for fake money.. you can buy anything, but try to keep it realistic), you should also be able to declare war to each other but then just in posts (the post count shouldnt be upped on the forum anyway)

A Shop is a place where you can sell stuff in your own speciality, like DragonFly: Nukes, nukes and nukes.

A warzone, and a place where you can put your nation stats and cities and towns, with thing u can visit there. for example tough.

===========================About Shops===============

Ok mormacil asked me to explain this store/shop stuff some better.

Becuz your Nation probarly will have some unique stuff, becuz of its unique land scape and climate, like if your nation is full of Mountains you'll probarly have alot mines, and alot of stones and ores, a country with alot of water and plain grass will probarly need alot of Stones, Bricks, and ores to build there country with, you can exchange those stuff with other players for stuff you need, you can also build weapon like swords and open a store where you sell them for other countries so they can fight war with them.

IT would become like the nation states forum, but... it has too much rules, we dont have rules, we can just give us our own fantasy and creativity a go, becuz thats why we are ReVoRa aint we?

Of course, keep it a little realistic, you can also be out of stock, and you dont have to sell the strongest weapons, build some weaker ones also and sell them,

I think Revora Worlds would become a sort of RPG then, what sounds like big big big fun :laugh:

Nice, but how are dragon-likes going to build a city :laugh: ?
about shops. Yes we can fake some trading, since that can make it more fun. On the otherhand, maybe, maybe somehow we can make real tradesysthem with prices based on how much people selling it and how handy it is. But let us first set up a number of worlds.

Preview of my nations (most got workingnames, since I'm bad with names)

1. Human kingdom: This kingdom is located on a realitive flat land, although there some high mountains spread over the landscape. They have been in comflict with the orc tribes for many years. Therefor their borders are filled with fortresses, around the fortresses villages have begun to grow, filed with the family of the soldiers.
The capital is famous because it is also the place were the palace of the king is located. The castle itself is the largest fortress knwo in it's region. It's build by dwarfs of some unknows stonekind only found deep underground in the dwarvenmines.
Most people are farmers, although you got some mines for ore and clai.

2. Saladrim. the Saladrim are great invaders. The use longboats like boats to quickly attack enemies.Although they got a darkskin and their architecture is more arabian. Their culture is a mix of Arabian/Vikings/Pirtaes and Chinese. The Saladrim are ruled by an emperor although there is a rebelmovement of pirates arround the small islandregion at the coast. That region is filled with small islands, lagunes and rocks just below the water. That makes it a dangerous place for traders, since pirates can hide everywere. The pirates were red cloths to show who they're. Armor is mostly leather, only the Imperial Guard wears mail. Tthis is because most battle are fought at sea and armor makes it harder to swim.

3. Land of the Darkelfs. THese people life in a circle of mountains, therefor the rainclouds can't leave the valley. It's always dark in the valley, it rains a lot and thunder is a common thing. It provides at least some light. The elfs learned to use the animals and plants that give light. they hang Lunami plants at their houses as lantarns. The wizards of the Darkelfs use pure night to create cloaks that make you invisible at night and almost in the shadows. There is a group of elite assasins who uses them to scare trespassers who dre to cross the forests which the area is filled with. The assasins are called trougthcutters.
The Darkelfs live from what the find in the forest and what they trade. although none has ever seen one, they always use hooded claoks when they trade. At least none who does ever speaks of it.

Then you got Glasscity. THis city is build at the foot of a huge dam, made by the builders of the city. THe city is build from light grey stones. From the dam aquaducs come down to the city, the tubes are made of glass. In sunlight the glasstubes, filled with water and al the small artificial waterfalls make a bright and wonderfull show. The people fish at the lake of the dam, although there not alone there. The area is filled with drakes. Why creaters with red eyes. The look like dragons but don't got wings. They can swim like salamanders and eat mostly fish, but a seagull or a human isn't unwelcome. they got the size of 2 horses long.
