I'm just wondering how many of you are of the age where you have to consider college/university. I just got accepted to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology comparable to Harvard or Cambridge), and I'm very happy. What do the rest of you have planned for schooling?

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

I've always woundered about the diffrences between UK and USA education.

Age 2+: Kresh.
Age 4 (i think): Goto Primary School.
Age 11: Goto High School.
Age 16: Goto College.
Age 18 (about then): Goto University.

As far as i can think, thats UK education. Whats the the USA's like?

I was 16 and I was a junior as well. I was just giving rough ages as I haven't had to 'study' that for so long..... heh.

MIT, that's pretty impressive man, well done

My goal school is West Point, and if not accepted there, I'll probably go to Texas A&M and join the Corps of Cadets

Westpoint is a nice school. I got their info, but I'm not interested in a military career. MIT was my first choice, so I'm pretty much committed to going there. @Magic, how was tuition going to be $60,000? MIT is only $42,000, and that includes room and board and books and everything.

Strange how all of you have to do exams and stuff to get in...

I'm going to the UU (University of Utrecht, Netherlands) next year, and I can get in no matter what...

Im at a community college, Harrow Weald, if youre not a pot head there, your an wanna be "gangsta" or such. I decided to keep myself to myself, and no one bothers me because i look built, even though its just my jacket lol.
Natus 3.4

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

I study in two public universities, but I doubt that anyone has ever heard of them:

- Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)
- Universidade Estadual Do Rio De Janeiro (UERJ)

Mainly, one is federal and the other is from the state. The federal one is really good, although I dont know if you can compare it to MIT, Havard, Cambridge or whatever... UERJ is a bit weaker, but it's more fun :p.

Maybe if I ever head down there to see a BoSox game or something we should meet up. Although I'd need to get my license first, which I've been putting off forever because of tennis season even though I could legally have it...

I've had 4 years of college, so i don't feel like doing more education at University.
If i can't get a job with 4 Diplomas and some NVQs i doubt i'll ever get a job. This part of the world just don't have jobs.
