The Boondocks is pretty good, too. I find that funny. Especially the disclaimer at the very beginning. :p

as for the other part of the aircraft testing base post by 7th Panzeri agree. actually thats what makes me think it is a cover story. if we have aliens there why DOES everyone know about it? 7th Panzer made a very good point.

You are right, it is only a testing facility. However, we know about it because the government confirmed it's existence during a lawsuit. Three men working at Groom Lake AFB (aka Area 51) were killed in an accident. It turns out that negligent care for dangerous chemicals by the government were to blame. The government merely swept it under the rug and forgot about. However, the wives of the men forced the government to remember. They filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the governement. The government lost, and during the trial admitted to Area 51's existence. They didn't call it Area 51, but instead Groom Lake, the official name of the area.

Also, I don't remember if I mentioned this, but:
After the lawsuit, the government agreed to shut down the facility. However, after recent investigation, the base is, in fact, still active.

I hate lawyers. Seriously, why require them to shut down the facility if all they have to do is secure the chemicals better? Besides, they're gonna work with those chemicals somewhere else, so the lawyers did that to make sure they would get another job sueing the government when there's another cemical spill.

Especially Jack Thompson. He's just stupid. (anti video game lawyer, blames every single act of violence on video games.

I despise Jack Thompson.

Anyway...
The government 'shut down' Groom Lake because of the publicity from the suit. However, the suit was just. The men died from negligent safety standards, because if the government spent a little more cash, the chemicals would've been stored properly. That's what killed them.

Yup. IDK if this is true, heard about this somewhere on Revora, but some kid was e-mailing Jack back and forth to refute his claims. If that's true, that 14 year old kid is waaaaaay smarter than Jack.

He walked him through a scene in Halo, just rotate the stick and pull the trigger in response to Jack's claim that games mean you have a hostile intent toward the player or computer. Then Jack just said "Games supress the inhibition to kill", care to elaborate? Eventually Jack told the kid to go check in at the nearest mental facility when all he did was seriously pwn him.

I heard about that. The idiot started replying with childish remarks, while the kid replied with clam, thought out, very well written responses. If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was that kid. :p
