Ok, from now on we will have everything concerning the spells and spellbooks for both factions here.

The first update is a mostly finished spell-techtree for the goblins:

War Chant: 1 power point; same as Isengard's

Disgrace of Moria: 1 power point; Taint with new FX

King of Moria: 3 power points; like "Gandalf the White", but upgrading Azog

Ghâsh: 3 Power points; summons a firelight with big visionrange and area damage

Industry: 2 power points; same as Isengard's

Earthquake: 8 power points; causes a devastating earthquake which can easily kill whole armies of infantry...

Darkness: 6 power points; same as Mordor's

Balrog: 10 power points; same as Mordor's

Comments and suggestions appreciated!

Blarog

Oooops... I'll correct that immediately...

EDIT: Done, no more "Blarog" here :)

Seems nice to me. What about some summon gimli, for a call for help or so. Dunno tho.. Might spawning gimli and 2-3 hordes of dwarfs to fight for you.

I think you've misunderstood a certain part here... :p

The techtree is for a GOBLIN faction, not a Dwarven... :) ... :) ...

EDIT: Looks really good by the way... :)

Okay, most of the goblin powers are done, but it's one thing for the elves...
We think the ultimate spell (Army of the Dead) doesn't fit with them.
So it would be great if someone could provide ideas for that, in the region of a 10+ cost. Ofcourse other ideas are still very much welcome :p
Thank you.

Frodo: I wish the Ring had never come to me... I wish none of this had happened...
Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All you have to decide, is what to do with the time that is given to you...

I would say Last Alliance, but only if we can't find a better one...

i dont think last alliance will be a good power. Just all of a sudden you summon the last alliance of elves, it doesnt sound very promising but who am i to complain?

 hhmmmm, you could add a spell called tears of valinor or something that will make it rain like meteors or huge raindrops in a wide targeted area. Maybe a spell that could increase all units speed, attack, defense, range, and health. you could also have a spell called shockwave that could be targeted in a wide area and could knockback surrounding units and stun them for a set time. Or, you could have a spell that would be similar to cloud burst but, it would stun all enemies and burn their flesh which will make them lose health over time. it could be the opposite of the goblins earthquake you know? ;) goblins have the land power but the elves have the power of the sky. if none of that interest you :) , then maybe a thunderstorm spell or that summon high elves of valinor or something. hope i helped you with my idea's . take note of all the Emoticons i used. they are just so cool! ;) ^_^

Okay, these are a bunch of ideas... thank you.

What we had thought of, but then dropped was somekind what you suggested: golden raindrops. So maybe we could reactivate this idea, we'll see...

How to explain this to you Thursti,

Valar are sort of like "Angels." It might be better if I run down the Valerion Order (Tolkien's Hiearchy of Angelic Beings)

1) Eru Iluvatar - means "He that is Alone" - God.
2) Chief Vala (valar sing.) - Manwe - kind of like the vice president, except he isn't close to being all powerful.
3) Chief Valier - Manwe's wife.
4) Valar
5) Valier - "Queens of the Valar" - their wives.
6) Various other ranks which I don't feel like posting.

Basically, Valar are the ruling powers of Arda (The Earth). They govern because Eru rarely gets involved.
