When I boot my PC, it show's my customized logo :p and then goes to a screen that says "DISKBOOT ERROR! PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER". When I add my Win XP DVD, I get the "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD..."But if I let that wait, it goes to the XP Logo and loads fine. When Im on the desktop the CD in which the XP DVD is in makes a very strange noise.

If it helps, It worked fine untill I unplugged my 2 HD's to plug my Xbox one in to reformat it. (60GB, Yes the box is modded). I was using a Linux Distro to read the FATX Partition Table and try to undo my n00bish mistake. (It was bootable distro, so all the data was stored in my RAM), But that get's dumped during a Restart. It couldnt be my Boot Loader/Partition cause both my HD's were unplugged, and the only way to reconfigure my BIOS is through XP or through a specialized disk that has to have the same CRC and name (atabiosreload.exe or something like that), So the Linux Distro couldnt harm the system in any way....

Im interested and hearing what people say, lol

It sounds like you've messed up your XP boot loader, you need to restore it a repair install should do it. The linux distro would of loaded GRUB which dosn't play nice with XP and vice versa.

That's impossible, The 2 drives that have XP and my data were *physically* removed from my system, those drives store the loader.

Hmm intresting....

You don't have any ipods or USB hard drives plugged in as sometimes Bios trys to boot from them.

Try and use a hard drive testing tool, if its making noises then it could be on the way out.
