Its very hard or near impossible to win against more then 3 Brutal AI's without spying on them very early in game and early in game its easy cause AI almoust never builds dogs and attack drones so as long as you got AI's war factory and refinery youv got major advantage example would be 15-20 minets into the game i sent(by helicopter...if they walk its likely they will never make it lol) 3 spyes into enemy FL refinery,1 into war factory and 1 into barracks..I end up with 300 000 cash and veteran units i can just mass produce
Later when your defense is set up you can go for Battle labs and get your self some uber units for base protection when your main force destroys enemy base.
Another very nice way to use spyes is to infaltrate the power plant right before assult i usualy take out an entire AL base without any casulties with just 10 kirovs and some phoenixes initialy sending some bio fighters IF they have a stockpile of anti air units somewere.
FL is a bit trickeier to kill just because power is off and aa guns dont do anythign but devastators stil kick ass <3 but can be easyer sometimes since tehy tend to leave nuke trucks in there base.
NEXUS is hardest AI to kill since 3 of tehre tanks shoot air and hack towers take over ur units lol even without power his base is protected ...not a problem if u have secret units tho :p

So I continued the "campaign", even after loosing the AL defended Hospitol, but defended the Airport.

Breaking News: Monetary Loss for Nexus

Nexus Monetary Stronghold, known as "Bay of Pigs" (a former oil rich city) taken by one of the more profound Freedom League commanders, Dastreus. Regardless of the victory, it was a sad day for one Freedom League commander, as they were overwhelmed by the hard hitting "Predator" unit and some hover tanks from the north simultaneously.
Regardless of the loss of one ally, Dastreus quickly began defending the Allied Legion commander that came to assist, and managed to successfully fend off Nexus units at both his base and the Legion's. While the Legion commander kept pressure on the Nexus bases, Dastreus slowly moved up the line of defense, and even managed to make the middle grounds of the island entirely impassible by Nexus forces.
Employing the same strategy as the glorious Sanctuary Isle victory, Dastreus sent a mass of forces alongside ten Nuclear Subs and bombarded the bases one after another before sending in planes to take out the cores.
In the end, thousands of machines were destroyed, and the humans had a great victory against the machines.

It's a shame I did not get a screenshot of the final score (YR crashed as I was attacking the last, crippled base.

Here is the setup for things:

Its call chrono transport - engineer

Once you've played a couple of games, you geneally stop doing it.

A more advanced version requiring excellent team work in 1.99 is allied, nexus team chrono transport - volkov

Spy really won't be changed as in normal versions spies die pretty easy to those with a sharp eye giving them a new sense of purpose, besides bases are usually heavily defended by mid-late game where the Spy pops up. A chrono transport and the occupants will die to howitzers/hack towers/hellstorm cannons and so on.

I think Engi abuse rush however has been fixed in 2.0 in that they take up two seats rather than one, so you can only have two engis in one Chrono Trans. It's still easy to stop though if you have defenses.

Spies are easy to stop by having dogs/terror drones and heroes...a good point to note here is that Osiris don't get spies to begin with. Yes, they have stolen tech units exclusive to them but they need to steal an enemy battle lab to get access to spies to get them! :wink_new:

And chrono engi rushes are teh lame. But yes I think they now take up more room in a transport than before. Walls or turrets will finish them off.

Civilian Gargs's have proven to be the most lethal threat against the A.I. If you let your soldiers to be infected by them, they will in turn head for the nearest enemy base and wreak havoc, spawn more Gargs, and the A.I responds very little to this. Their base was annihilated this way.

Just got out of a co-op comp stomp with Apollo. I was AL, he was NEXUS and the single enemy AI was Osiris. Thanks to an AI bug, it took the two of us to defeat it - this AI liked to advance bigtime with conyard and become TheVirus by way of the hardcoded AI duplication.

Fuckin' awesome fight though. I ended up creeping across the north of the map (it was A Path Beyond II) to keep my economy going and to make myself harder for the AI to kill. The air and later land attacks vs me were constant throughout the match. Comparatively, Apollo didn't seem to get as much stick in the early portion of the game. That changed whenl the AI parked an MCV across the central bridge not far from his base. We basically bombed the shit out of its expansions until we could mount an effective offensive. Trying to keep the AI contained was the big issue - it dug itself in TWICE on the bank of the central lake and took a bit of uprooting. After throwing a huge assault at the central base, the AI's last ditch was to drop an MCV to the very far south in the hope of hitting Apollo up the ass. I bombed the shit out of it there while we crushed the rest of the base for the win.

It honestly did take both of us. If had been only one, probably woulda got overrun. We tried a 2v2 just before and got swarmed to death, although I'd like another stab at it. I reckon we could pull it off.
