Not unless you can write a very good program in a relatively short amount of time :)

You'll have to edit the teams anyway because they haven't got the same object names have they?

Well this is is:

If you change your playertemplate.ini faction entries and want to make an AI you'll have to modify every map for it once its done. Modify means that you have to add the new player to the player list (Edit>Player List).


Scripting a new faction is always tedious and boring at the start - the fun part begins when you get to the point of making intelligent AI's at the brutal difficulty level.

Yes, but you have to assign every team from every faction before you can even start modifying the scripts. Is there anyway to say 'I don't want to load these ones at all'?

Ah you mean you have to move every team to another faction in the teams editor? Since you are doing a TC why don't you just rename the old ones and thus keep all the scripts and teams - only have to modify them then don't you...
