its original, but won't work. the hijacker code kills the hijacker in the process. there is no "get out" because the hijacker no longer exsists.

This is hard coded in the engine.

Why not just make him "Capture" the vehicle.
Then make it so he's "Inside of it"
(When a stolen paladin gets blow up the hijacker runs out)
Just kill the hero you got/put him in an insivable transport.
then when it's done create a new hero/evac him.

Well, if we all walk down to EA (or fly, or boat, etc)
and beat the living crap out of everyone I'm sure we can get
that changed...

And i am sure your get a big fat lawsuit on your hands for beating the crap outta there Staff.
Besides they would not change fuck all unless it makes them money, they don't care about how good or reliable the games are its all about money and getting as meny games outa on the shelf as possable.

EA will only do what is profitable, they will release patchs for a set time trying to fix watever they can (not enough as they always release most games with some problems not intensionalty) But even with these updates they do they always seem to miss some of the most ovbuose problems.

And after a game in there eyes seems old or not profitable they stop making patchs for it.

Omg... One time they tried to destroy thier customers computers!

It probably took a day or two to find out about the crash. Then it took a day or two to find and fix it. THEN after it was found and fixed it has to be handed over to the ditrobution group who adds all the disclaimers and then publishes it to the website. Theres alot of red tape before releasing anything official. Even if the next patch was ready in 5 minutes it could take 4 days to get the red tape cleared.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

More likely they had to bring in more cages of monkeys to get the job done. If the first patch blew out thier first load of monkeys it could take days to capture and train more.
