New thought here.

Make the AL barraks a hospital structure. The old kind, not the new one. This seems more in line with Allied ideology and resources.

Mortar tank's voice. :thumbsupsmiley: I hate slave voice for combat units. Must be changed.

Nice new weather tank voxel and animation. 'Tis very cool.

Nice idea.. I did have same idea ages ago about putting the old hospital feature into the allied barracks, however mixing it with barracks logic had a surprising result...the AI literally flooded its base with constant infantry production and ignoring tank production mostly entirely... :grin:

as for voices... there will be brand new, away with slave ones for surely :p

perhaps an artic outfit for the fl basic troopers they look awfully cold without a shirt :p

Apollo's decision, but I think that they do deserve the minimum survival gear despite the FL's lack of resources. That or icicles hanging off them. :p

Yeah we discussed this already :D The AL are the best of the best in humanity's equipped infantry forces, so we have considered an RA2 AL hospital or a buildable late game YR AL hospital of somesort, but thing is we can't use the tech hospital as this would negate one of NEXUS' primary infantry advantages. We always had the idea in mind that the new troops would have been equipped with drugs and bandages. But yeah it is quite embarrassing when you find out the League has better medical care than you and that NEXUS can simply regenerate :ohmy:..

Well, I've been considering removing the medic from FL..no point really and could switch it to AL with new cameo or separate hospital building for AL (but who would bother build it separately really and insert troops 1 by 1 for heal ?) :thumbsupsmiley:

perhaps an buildeble ambulance instead of the medic wich also could function as some sort of a transport


(is a cure option like the propagande towers in generals possible in ra2yr it might work in long battles)

Maybe you could let the FL keep their medics, but give the AL an ambulance that would work like a Regenerator but for infantry. Just lower the efficiency of the FL medic, that way AL will have better medical support. And I'd so use an RA2 style tech hospital if it was buildable by the AL. I mean in Generals the USA Barracks could heal infantry you sent into it, and I came out of battles against 7 medium AI's with 2 or 3 casualties. My primary tactics focused on air and infantry, I rarely used anything more than a Humvee in terms of armor support.

The point I'm getting at is there are many of us who would use it, but just to make it a little more useful make it a prequesit for the amb and perhaps a couple of other units...

New thoughts here. AR2 inspired.

The Nemesis repair vehicle could deploy into a hospital. That feature could be implemented in AL regenerators. They're mobile, efficent, and in line with ideology.

Strip the core of it's autohealing boost and give it to the machine factory, the special NEXUS structure.
This should prevent core spamming and make it more unique.
NEXUS uses an assembly line to develop his units. Why not design a structure that acts as a cloning facility? Just add an increase to infantry price per built assembly line. To prevent Volkov spam, give him build limit of -1. There's also a nasty bonus to NEXUS enemies but not to opposing NEXUS armies with increasing infantry prices. Figure it out yourself.

If the Nemesis Rejuvenator (yeah, that's the name of it) could be made to work like the Ambulance in Generals, where the infantry can be loaded into it and healed on the go, I'd do that in a heartbeat. Unfortunately that isn't possible with the YR engine.

I do like how injured soldiers can be queued to enter the TS-style hospital though. You just select a group of infantry and click on the hospital and the injured ones move over to it and wait their turn to enter it. With the Ambulance, you actually have to do MORE multitasking, though you don't have to deploy it into a structure AND it doubles as an APC.

If only the two logics could be combined somehow..

sounds like a lot of fun ar2 does have a lot of weird systems in it (like the infinit cloningfats and the ore refinery bonus)
