Here it is, the latest version of The Elven Alliance. This update features the many changes made to Rohan since the last release, as well as all the new models and skins for other factions featured in updates. A full list of additions, changes, fixes, and bugs can be found here.

A few things of note:-you do NOT need the original release installed to install the update
-if you already have the original installed, this will replace the older version
-PLEASE read through the installer. It includes Installation Troubleshooting as well as important terms of use information
-if you're still having problems after reading everything included in the installer, make a post in the forums, and I'll do my best to help you out
Also, if you haven't already done so, make sure to vote for The Elven Alliance for the ModDB Mod of the Year Awards. Many thanks. Also remember to hit the "BFME Top 100" button at the bottom of this page at least once a day (if you have the time to kill).

...The Journey doesn't end here; death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores...and beyond. A far green country, under a swift sunrise...

...Many folk like to know beforehand what is to be set on the table; but those who have laboured to prepare the feast like to keep their secret; for wonder makes the words of praise louder...

...Stand, Men of the West! Stand and wait! This is the hour of doom... ~ Gandalf the White, The Return of the King

Just a question: do the new Rohan units have voices?

Not really. They use a mixture of used and unused Rohirrim voices (none of the "Ride!" ones, of course). Sounds good though.

I've just played a game as Rohan and it's amazing  ! Great job as always, Celeglin! :p
There's one bug: Eorlingas and Royal Guard's cost doesn't decrease after building Wells.

No, price doesn't go down at all... I completely forgot to add the Royal Guards and Eorlingas to the hordes that the Well decreases costs for. Blast!

hey cel um this is just a suggestion with the royal guard (this is if you ever make a third beta) you should make the royal guards bows a separate unit so you have swords men with shilleds and bowmen only but hey its only a suggestion

This is what Eorlingas are for my friend  . and remember this is a beta, not the final release so suggest all you want

That would mean three different Royal Guard units. That's just way too many.

ok then how about this keep the one royal gaurd but when they switch to swords they should get shileds but then there shileds could goodn across there back but hey if you cant do that then that blows my rohan idea and for gondor you should make a gondor spearmen modle in the barracks use the sowrds men and swap for a spear. o and about the above im sorry i forgot to login lol

It would be good to see a Gondor spearman somewhere in that, but it would make more sense to make that unit a Citadel Guard, which Celeglin might (not a big chance of it, so don't quote me) do for TEA II.

he don't have BFME2.....

anyways, it's not something you really want to do.... to get shields on the RGs, and when bowed they remove the shield... lots of custom animations are going in there :p

I found a bug. When playing as Rohan, I need to purchase a hero before I can purchase Merry, which pretty much makes Merry useless :(

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

Uhh... No you don't... Did you go messing with the files? Trust me, we've tested that.
