But then Gandalf, Boromir and Faramir shouldn't have ran off as well. Meh!

Pippin, and every other hobbit, isn't much a threat to the enemy, also, he doesn't attack anything unless it's colser than 2meters... ah, hobbits <^_^

Because Pippin put on his elven cloak (he wasn't on duty, otherwise he'd be up in the top level) and I forgot to remove it.

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

Pippin's very usefull, just put him on the wall near the gate and with rock throw he can kill trolls&wargs :)

Or maybe put him on the second level? I have to try it.

Honestly, Pippin is one of the most usefull heroes during this battle. Trollkiller :)

And you can't lose Faramir - his wounding arrow ability is great, even against Mumaks.

I usually keep all the starting heroes (Gandalf, Boromir, Faramir, Pippin) on the gate walls anyway. Their leadership bonuses are a god-send, especially Gandalfs.

Faramir's armor leadership is very useful :)

But Gandalfs is better, you get an experience bonus (I can't remember how much exactly) and immunity to fear. But don't get me wrong, combine Faramir with Boromir on the one side of the wall and then you've got a near perfect leadership combo. :)

With that 50% armor your troops last 2x as long :)

I just spread all my heroes out tbh. Gandalf goes with some of my rangers since they have no heavy armor, he gives them armor bonus. ;) Boromir I put with the bulk of my rangers so they all shoot arrows with +60 damage at machine-gun rate :p and Faramir just goes wherever needed.

But all my Rohan reinforcement heroes die on the battlefield anyways... :p

Doesn't Gandalf have a 75% armour bonus? If so, that would be better than Faramir's. Either way, you've got armour bonus' aplenty.

I'm pretty sure he does. Anyway, we won't get too off-topic.

Fear immunity is useless if you have banner carriers though.

Yeh. I'm hoping Cel changes the fear ini so that it works up to level 3. Because in real games your naz's screech is useless since he comes at the game stage where everyone else is ranked up. :p

I personally wish units always suffered from fear unless there was a hero with fear immunity. Obviously there should be certain exceptions, like the Elven Spearmen.

Make it level 10, we will never see it except at the end of the game :p
And why are warriors affected by sunlight but not the rohirrim?
