How can I mod Gil-Galad into the game.
Cause it says on the Heroes menu that Gil-Galad is not in the mod by default, but can be added in.

It's somewhere in the BETA Thread. Look for it there.
But what I remember, is that you have to remove one ";" from the Elven heroes list in mod file.

Do you have the final BIG program? If not, go get it online somewhere (can someone get a link?)
Go to My Computer/C(or whichever drive you installed bfme on)/documents and settings/application data/my battle for middleearth files/ElvenAlliance.big
open the the ElvenAlliance.BIG file
go to player template, find where it says all the Elven heros, then remove the ; in front of gil-galad, save (better if you back up the orginal, or save this as a new file)
If you saved it as a new file, you need to change the target in the Elven Alliance short cut.
At the very end, change the Elven Alliance.big to what ever you saved it as. Don't forget the .big at the end of your file name, and don't take out the -mod.
What I did was copy and paste the icon onto the desktop, so I had two, then changed the copy's target, so I could play whichever version I wanted to.
There was only one thingy...I'll do it later....but why?
There, done

do me a favor elvenlord, edit that post and get rid of all the "thingys" and organize it in a very easy to read manner but other than that, you did a good job
finalbig040b.zip 489.2KB 165 downloads there you go. just take the files out of the zip and it will work fine

No that was the final big program.
The reason FinalBig stops responding is that the first few files are map files which cannot be displayed. Make sure you dont click them.
My additions to the steps mentioned above:
Go to C:(or whichever drive you installed bfme on)/Documents and Settings/Application Data/My Battle for Middle-earth Files
open the the ElvenAlliance.BIG file
go to player template, find where it says all the Elven heros, then remove the ; in front of gil-galad, save (better if you back up the orginal, or save this as a new file). See Picture Attachment for this.
If you saved it as a new file, you need to change the target in the Elven Alliance short cut.
Find the TEA shortcut icon, go to properties, go to target. At the very end, change the Elven Alliance.big to what ever you saved it as. Don't forget the .big at the end of your file name, and don't take out the -mod.
