I just did a quick count with the unit list of how many voxels are done so far & I came up with:

Key: finished, unfinished & total

US = 53, 20, 73
UK = 42, 27, 69
FRN = 27, 31, 58
SOV = 39, 36, 75
GER = 44, 30, 74
ITA = 1, 54, 55
JAP = 20, 36, 56

Combined Total: 226, 234, 460

I’m probably out by a few & there is still some stuff that needs to be added to the unit list but it should give you an idea of D-day’s progress & the end results.

I spent 3 years honing my Gfx skills, the D-day you see now has only been around for about a year & a half. As you can see from my last news post I've got alot quicker at making vxl's too, so I would say 6-12 months to get all the units done like DaEm0NuL said.

I would think coding would be the easy part. :blink: Nice numbers, though how the hell do you get all those on the VehicleTypes list without it fucking up?

Multiple VehicleTypes lists :blink:

Coding is piss easy I can code whole mods in a day but the fact that some of the coding is going to be done in the map files instead of the rules will make thing a bit more interesting.

The game mode inis only (afaik) support multiplayer & unit/building settings, but you can specify what maps are used for that game mode so code in the maps will be used etc. It does mean that there will be five versions of every map tho, each with there own internal mini rules & ai inis >_>

Amazing. So many voxels...

Mig, perhaps you could finish one side after another? The Americans, English and Germans perhaps and make a small demo. I know a lot of people who will love it. :sleep:

Quite fast :dry:.

ah, that would be the first purely italian unit then :sleep: it's funny that you've made dozen of voxels for each country but hadn't started any for the italians.

just needed to get psyched up? :dry:

I want to make another 25 ish tanks but there isn’t that many tanks left to do for the other sides so I thought I might as well to work on the Italians :sleep:
