Looking rather nice.
Natus 3.4

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

Oh dear, :p I just noticed the huge amount of detail on that magnetron

I think that voxel is a bit beyond me for now :p , but that doesn't mean I won't make it it's just a bit too complicated

But... I have just discovered the concept tank destroyer!

Posted Image

I will make this voxel, and release it here when i'm done!

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

The Tank Destroyer has more details than the Magnetron.

But the magnetron has much more fiddly details on it, eg. pipes, tubes. And the Tank destroyer has
much larger detail, so it will be much easier to make, IMO

Doesn't matter. If you try to put the level of detail from a 600 x 440 picture on a 200 x 147 voxel you're going to fail, and end up with a horrible mess. Just worry about the big things, like shape, pannels, weapons, etc. then add detail as necesary.

I guess that's what lead to the demise of MO's concept Magnetron:

Posted Image

Ok, you have all convinced me, I will start on the magnetron right away

Don't need to animate them afaik. I assume TurretRecoil, TurretTravel, BarrelTravel, BarrelCompressFrames, BarrelHoldFrames and BarrelRecoverFrames work with vehicles.

I'm fairly certain they don't, but it doesn't matter. With something like the quad cannon, it's easiest to edit the whole turret voxel into different 'stages' and just use the prism tank charge. Not only will it look smoother, but it will always be timed with the firing.
Being a total douche.

Sorry for double posting, but here it is!

It didn't really turn out to look like the concept art, but it still turned out pretty good!

Yeah, well, I didn't really enjoy making it anyway, the shape of the magnetron makes it rather difficult for me to make it, I personally prefer tanks with standard bases.

And I like my Yuri tanks dark, so as to distinguish them from the Soviet scheme

Nice effort there, but I gotta say I never liked that concept of magnetron anyways, existing one in YR is well sufficient and enough simple still. :p

Deutschland's Finest! :crazed:

The concept Tank destroyer is at last done! (after some fiddly resizing) Now the Tank Destroyer doesn't look like a modified howitzer (helpful if your mod uses Westwoods howitzer voxel)

What do think of it? :)

The real problem with the Tank Destroyer Treads is that the resizing makes it all blurry, and they are already half covered by the tread guards, so you really won't notice them ingame.

That aside, here's Another Generals voxel remake  :

Posted Image

This time of the Chinese 'Dragon' Flame Tank, I have not seen many flame tanks around, so I decided to take a shot at replicating the one in Generals

[EDIT]: Hmmmm, I've been looking at Mental Omega's Scrapbook, and this picture caught my attention:

Posted Image

I believe it's the Beta Iron Dragon, was this voxel ever released to the public?

Because if it wasn't......... :evgr:
