Oh the shame!!! I just got my ass kicked by one (yes just one!) easy AI :rolleyes: I wasn’t quite expecting that. Oh well I guess it was my own fault for being too busy testing units instead of defending myself :ohmy:

They where constantly attacking me with air strikes, blowing up some of my units as soon as they came out of the war factory. So when their tanks rolled in there was little resistance XD

I guess I need to work on making the anti-aircraft stronger to balancing things out.

seeing as I'm only playing regular YR against brutal AIs that are totally useless, I might be in for a shock when playing the mod for the first time :rolleyes:

I guess the moral is "don't forget about flack" :ohmy:

It was US Vs US, American is the only side I've re-coded so far.

I haven't added the flak guns yet :ohmy: I Only had M16 & P-51. The AI’s P-47 seam to hunt down any M16 I make so there not doing much. The AI also builds their own P-51s to, so gameplay is heavily dependant on air-superiority. You basically need control of the skies just to build anything XD

It too much fun tho! I’m spending more time playing then working on the inis :rolleyes:

A real fan of WW2 and DDay needs no easy AI. Only brutal, more brutal, and even more brutal :p
And seriously, don't make flaks too strong, keep it weak enough so that at least US,GB can win a war almost simply from air.
And as we have 1.08se, do you plan to make P47s be able to anti-air? sure keep P51s jjet.
It really cool and breathtaking to see my jjet F15Cs overwhelmed by waves, and waves of groundattack MIGs, in my a little changed CodeRed :p
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, not a single discuss on this? :)
Is it coz it's an offtopic here, or DDay no longer needs disscution and suggestion? Or simplly no one came here in last 2 days?? :(
Seriously I think it's important. And beside this I'd like to see carrier fighters being able to anti -air, at least the Hellcats to anti -air.(yes, 1.08se allows this)

Hey man! I'm not here to boast myself, if I made you think so I'm sorry. :(
I said those coz it's what I believe may be important to at least some fans(sure including me) but forgot by everyone here. Hope I'm wrong.
I just hope there is no regret in DDay :thumbsupsmiley: .

@Sudeki

I will do once I've added some more stuff (lots of missing cameos atm etc :thumbsupsmiley: )

I have worked on the AI tho & easy AI is easy now so I wont be getting my ass kicked. Still takes me twice as long to take out a D-day easy AI compared to a RA2 one, but that’s really because one unit spamming doesn’t work.

@LEGO

Sorry just been busy >_> the P-47 already has a secondary A2A weapon & A2A carrier fighters are in the works.

I just had another funky AI error ;) I added scripts so the AI would build a new MCV after their conyard was destroyed but instead the AI built several of them during the game & then moved them to free areas & built new bases o_0 It had three bases at one point, one of which was close to my own. The artillery it built around that new base was within range of my own, it was quite funny seeing base defences duelling it out :thumbsupsmiley:
